Sorry again for the delay, I promise, I will be blogging away tomorrow. I will get all caught up, believe me. For now, I want to talk about Shahs of Sunset's season finale and a few details from the last few episodes, since I didn't get a chance to blog about them much.
The episode where Reza confronts his father was really moving. I loved that Reza's other family members (minus the grandmother) were totally open and welcoming towards him. You could see that his father was sorry for all the hurt, but still convinced there was no other way. I hope Reza and his father are still in a good place.
GG working on her anger issues is for the best. I can see she's a sweetheart deep down. And of course, a bad temper usually is just a defense mechanism anyway. Hopefully she can show a more mature side next season. That whole "mean girl" dinner where Asa's friend blasted GG was probably a turning point. It is hard to see yourself realistically sometimes - until someone forces you to do so.
Mike is generally a nice guy - and I don't think he should end up with GG by any means. And he's very handsome. I like him.
The blind date with MJ and Sammy was so ridiculous. Sammy is an a**hole for bringing MJ's ex. That's so wrong. There's a reason she's not with him. And anyone with half a brain could see she was NOT feeling him. Good for you, MJ, for running away. Run for your life!
While we're on the subject of MJ, the conversation with her mother was painful. Everyone has someone in their life like MJ's mom. Some of us are fortunate enough to not have to deal with them every day or even at all. But when it's your own mother, it's got to be awful. Stay strong, MJ, you are a great person. Don't ever forget that.
I truly fell in love with Asa throughout the season. She's cool, different, and talented. I cannot get "Tehrangeles" out of my head! And I don't speak Farsi! Just the fact that Asa was able to stay true to herself while pursuing her dreams makes me admire her even more. So, good for you, hun!
I'm so glad we're getting another season. I'm thinking Bravo didn't know if the show would work or not. It totally did. I loved getting to know everyone on the show, although some more than others. All in all, it was an awesome first season!

Queen Bee
Just some random thoughts about Survivor this week. The show is taking a really interesting turn, and I love it. I'm telling you, Kim is the Queen Bee now! Go, Kim!
Tarzan needs to be voted off next, without question. No more poopy shorts in the laundry pot.
Leif is super likable, but unfortunately, the girls will get rid of him soon. I'm interested to know who he'll side with in the final vote.
I wasn't at all surprised when Mike was taken out. I'm shocked it didn't happen sooner, really.
Troyzan really needs to campaign that the girls keep him instead of Kat and Alicia, who are both completely useless.
I really want Christina to stick around, just because it would be awesome if she made it to the end.

So Last Season
Shahs of Sunset took a trip to Vegas for my boy Reza's b-day and it was cray!! These Persians aren't playing around when it comes to partying!!
Heyvoon Bazi!!
Sammy: You're really just along for the ride, so until I get to know you better, I can't grade you. Sorry! Sammy's grade for the week: N/A.
Asa: You really won me over. Taking care of MJ (or trying to) was no easy task. You showed you have a soft side, and that was really nice to see from you. And you made nice with GG! Keep it up! And no, you don't have to change your style. I love that you're different. Asa's grade for the week: A.
MJ: OMG, girl, you were a hot mess. Were you taking your dress off in da club?! I can't believe you weren't hungover for days after that. Slow down with the fire water, ok? I love your fun loving attitude, but you gotta know your limits. MJ's grade for the week: C.
Reza: It's hard when your friends don't get along, but you tried to keep everyone in the partying spirit. I think you succeeded for the most part. I don't blame you for being upset with GG, though. You are still the star, and I love your zingers and catchphrases. Love it! Reza's grade for the week: A.
GG: It's hard not to perceive you as a spoiled brat. When the attention's not on you, you freak out. Not a good look. Why are you so hellbent on trashing other girls? As soon as MJ said something about Anita's dress you should have told her to stop. She was intoxicated at that point. Instead, you kept it going - to the next day! Then you storm off at dinner because everyone's not fawning all over you? Come on, girl, you gotta get a grip. GG's grade for the week: F.
Mike: I think you've got a good heart, but your ego may get you into trouble. I don't know what happened in Vegas, but I hope you get what you're looking for. Everyone wants to either be with you or pair you up, so that must be a good sign! Mike's grade for the week: B.

Hello, We're Persian!
I finally watched Shahs of Sunset and I was completely blown away. We got catfights, shooting ranges, pool parties, real estate drama, and more all in the first episode. I am absolutely going to keep watching. I'm not going to give grades just yet, since I still need to feel the cast out. But next week, I'll definitely start the grading!
The star, for me, is Reza. I love his candor and his humor. He can be over the top and give a little too much information, but he does it with humor - so you know it's all good for me. He's like the narrator and the one that guides us through all the drama. Basically, we see the whole thing through his eyes. Or at least I do.
The girls are all crazy - in a good way. I LOVE MJ!!! She is my girl!! I'm not so sure about Asa and GG yet. But, I'm willing to give them a chance.
The guys are alright. Mike is definitely hot and his story is interesting. Sammy knows how to throw a party, that's for sure.

Love You, Shore House!
The finale of Jersey Shore aired last night, and it was a little bittersweet for me. Even if the show comes back next season, it won't be the same. I hope they just do the spinoffs and let this be the end. The reunion, by the way, airs next Thursday. Can't wait.
Wah!
Snooki: You were the last one out of the house, which is fitting, since you're the big star of the show. We all know this. I loved when you said you could go back to the shore house forever. Now that you're pregnant and engaged, that's probably no longer the case, but your heart and soul came through on this show. And I'll defend Snooki right here, right now. She came on this show as a fun loving party girl who just wanted to fall in love, she was real with us and showed us what partying on the shore is, and she was genuine about who she was. The girl was just being honest. And funny! Girl has an awesome sense of humor. I just hate it when people hate on her when you know they've knocked back a few too many shots in their day, too. Snooks is all grown up now, and I wish her the best, and appreciate the many laughs she's given me on Jersey Shore. But, back to the finale. Nicole and Mike are getting along again (?) and he tells her a secret about Deena's sister. Ugh. Snooki was right to tell Mike not to talk about it and she was right to tell Deena. If someone were talking about my sister that way, I would want to know. Snooki's a good friend. Ok, ok enough Snooki love for one season, I'm sorry. Snooki's grade for the week: A.
Deena: You were kind to let the whole thing go with Mike and your sister. I would have punched his lights out. Seriously. I loved how committed you were to the water balloon fight. OMG! That looked like so much fun. You guys really went at it. I'm gonna defend you too right now. I love that you're just yourself all the time, no apologies, no excuses. I appreciate that you're pretty much a happy person all the time. And you're funny as well! I can't stress how much I love a girl with a sense of humor. I love anyone with a sense of humor, really. I hope you get your own show, maybe a Bethenny-esque type show where you balance your new relationship with your businesses? Just a thought. Merp! Deena's grade for the week: A.
JWOWW: I thought it was so funny that you weren't pissed off about the prank. You're the same girl who clocked Mike in the face without any hesitation. Well, wouldn't we all? Anyway, I think you've mellowed out a lot over the course of the show's run, and it's nice to see you just happy. You and Roger are so adorable together. I can't wait to see the spinoff with you and Snooks. I think it's going to be funny. Probably not a wild and crazy time now that you're both in stable relationships, but I can watch a best friend show like nobody's business. When you get two friends together, it's always a good time. JWOWW's grade for the week: A.
Sammi: Your speech at dinner was so nice! I love that you had one awesome summer and you weren't fighting the whole time. We know you're still the diva, but you've come around to where you're a fun diva. Like Gloria Estefan. It was bittersweet to see you leave with Ron, knowing you two ultimately couldn't work it out. But, at least you're still friends according to Ron on the Hook Up. I appreciated your cool new attitude. I can see you modeling and doing something with fashion and beauty. I would love to see you become a true fashionista. Sammi's grade for the week: A.
Vinny: Ugh. I swear, you have the weirdest taste in women. I get there's a certain fantasy checklist and you got to knock one off your list with your little stunt on this episode, but it was just ... blah. At this point, I wish you would have shed more light on overcoming your anxiety, or at least managing it, and your decision not to drink. That's what would have been interesting. Not trying to hook up with random girls all the time. That's not what cured your anxiety, my friend. Vinny's grade for the week: C.
Pauly: You have so much fun in this house, it's hard to be mad at you. But if you screamed at me to wake up every day, you'd be a dead man. Can't wait to see your spinoff! Pauly's grade for the week: B.
Ronnie: Thank you for being so much fun this season. The one liners, the looks, the laughs. It was all good. Good luck with the Ron Ron Juice business, buddy. And I'm glad you and Sam are still friends. Ronnie's grade for the week: A.
Mike: You had to stir the pot one last time. Ok. Lucky for you, it didn't blow up in your face. I can't wait to see you get blasted at the reunion. Maybe it'll be the wake up call you need to finally drop the act and just be a normal person. The fact that you threw a fit about your stuff being put outside (how old are you?!) just shows you're a child in a man's freakishly fit body. Grow up. Mike's grade for the week: F.

Food Fight!
Ah, Jersey Shore is almost over and there's talk of another season. I would be happy with this being the end but if they wanna do one more, why not. I just think with all the spinoffs, there's no reason to keep the show going. Let the kids do their own thing from now on, ya know? Anywhoo, last night's episode was great, truly entertaining, if you ask me. Lots of stuff to talk about so let's get into it right now.
Food fight!
Snooki: I'm going to start with you because you have had one exciting week! You're pregnant and engaged. Mazel! I really am happy for you - and to the haters, just because Snooks acts crazy on a tv show (reality tv show at that) that tapes for a fraction of the year, it doesn't mean she's a terrible person or will be a terrible mother. Nicole Richie, anyone? Google her and see if she didn't make an awesome transition via motherhood and a stable relationship! Now, back to this week's episode. How funny was Jionni? I love this kid. He just blew Mike off without even breaking a sweat. Even if it were true, it's such old news by now. I thought it was so funny when you called Mike "Popeye". Huh-larious. I'm sure the food fight released some of the tension and now that the whole hook-up drama is over, you can just enjoy the rest of the summer. Oh and where did "bango bonjo" come from? LOL, so funny. I am worried about your friendship with Deena. We've all been through this. We're happy for our friends being in love, but we hate that they ditch us to be with their man. I think some girl time would be good for you - more specifically, Team Meatball time. Show Deena you still care and that you'll always be there for her no matter what. Congrats again, Snooks! Snooki's grade for the week: B.
JWOWW: I can listen to you say "haht dawg" awl day. LOL, accents are one of my favorite things ever, so thank you for that. I think you were such a great friend to tell off that jerk Joey for Deena, and the way you did it was great. He now knows not to mess with your girl Deena. It was so sweet that you called her your baby sister. I loved that. I can see you also have a problem with Snooki ditching you girls for Jionni, but you understand what it means to balance your time between your man and your friends. I'm sure you've already given Snooks some pointers in this area. You seem to have a very balanced relationship when it comes to having time for your girls. I was surprised that the spider on the camping trip freaked you out so much! You're the tough one! LOL I thought you would have karate chopped that spider and been done with it. JWOWW's grade for the week: B.
Sammi: Well, I had to watch the deleted scenes to catch a glimpse of the Old Sam, but there it was! LOL I will admit you were just in a bad mood, but the little tiff between you and Deena was pretty hilarious. It wasn't terrible, though. Just two girls being moody, that's all. I found it interesting that you doubted Jionni's love for Snooki because he didn't go off on Mike. But after seeing Jionni and Snooki talk about it, it's clear why he didn't - he didn't believe it and wasn't going to waste energy on it. You also said you're not sure whether Mike's telling the truth or not, which as we've seen in the After Shows, rubbed Snooki the wrong way. I'm sure that by now it's clear whether it happened or not, Mike blew it way out of proportion just for attention. I'm glad you had a good run on this season and you had fun. Will we see you and Ronnie break up before the season is over? Sammi's grade for the week: C.
Deena: Thank goodness you didn't go on that date with Joey. Let's just leave it at that. I have been in the same spot as you as far as the Snooki situation. You want your friend back, and there's nothing wrong with that. You were honest with her and even though she was defensive, you said your piece without it turning ugly. Most friendships are ruined after a conversation like that. I think your sincerity prevented it from becoming a fight. You were being real. And you know you'll always be friends with Nicole no matter what. She's just more focused on her relationship at this point. It doesn't mean you're not friends anymore. Give it some time and you'll see her come around, if she hasn't already. And now with the wedding and a baby on the way it'll just take more effort, but you two can make it work. I thought it was sweet when you said you want a relationship like Jenni and Roger, and hopefully you have that with your boyfriend now. So mazel to you, too! I'm so glad you're in love! No one deserves it more than you. Oh, and your "hermaphrodite" line was so friggin' funny! Deena's grade for the week: A.
Ronnie: I love your explanation about why you're no good at camping. You're from the Bronx! LOL! But seriously, you had some opinions on the whole Jionni/Snooki thing, as did the rest of the house, but I really don't think any of you understood that Jionni just didn't care because, let's be real - look at the source. Mike's not known for being real. He's known for being a jerk. And just because someone doesn't react the way you would in a given situation doesn't mean they're wrong. Ronnie's grade for the week: C.
Pauly: You called Jionni a not so flattering name because he didn't go after Mike. Well, see above, my friend. And I think you're wrong about Jionni hooking up with other girls. He's not a man-whore. I just don't see that in him. So, we can agree to disagree there. The fact that you called their relationship a joke was kind of mean, too. You redeemed yourself a little bit when you talked to Joey for Deena and told him she was sick. You do care about Deena! Aw! Your prank with Vin was funny and you cracked me up when you were protecting your "freshies" from the food fight (which you totally started). Pauly's grade for the week: C.
Vinny: Again, I think you're wrong about Jionni. But you don't have a lot of good things to say about the kid. You never did. Understandable. I just think you're wrong. I also think you're wrong for accusing Snooki of lying. She didn't lie to Jionni when she hooked up with you in Italy, so why lie about Mike? Snooki is a lot of things, but she's honest. Moving on, you hooked up with a thick girl because "hot girls are boring". You got a lot of heat for this on the After Show. Frankly, I really don't care who you hook up with, since they're all gross anyway. The prank with Pauly went off without a hitch and I can't wait to see what the roommates' reaction will be. Vinny's grade for the week: C.
Mike: I don't know what was more annoying. Your fit at the camping trip or that terrible accent you pulled out when talking to everyone about your conversation with Jionni. Are you ever just yourself? Or do you always have to be some character you created in your head. Jeez louise. I'm worried about your fascination with fire, though, because you really were going for the gold with that bonfire at the camp site. Get some help for that, buddy. Jionni barely reacted to you which should give you a clue that everyone is over your shtick and maybe it's time to just be yourself. Just a suggestion. Mike's grade for the week: F.

Jert
Sorry this blog is so late ... please forgive me! This'll be a short blog so I can get caught up!
Jersey Shore is still going strong, with only a handful of episodes left until we say goodbye forever, and it's still a mix of fun, raunch, drama, and more drama. I have to say I'm looking forward to the spinoffs (both Pauly's and Snooki/JWOWW's). This week, Mike is still creepy even though he buys everyone breakfast, Roger and JWOWW celebrate their one year anniversary, Snooki and Jionni spend some quality time together, and Vinny introduces us to his favorite plaid/denim shirt combo.
JWOWW: Your anniversary celebration was ... interesting. I'm just glad you and Roger are happy and in love. You both look so happy together, and that's all that matters. JWOWW's grade for the week: A.
Snooki: I'm so interested in how Jionni will take Mike's "news". Of course, they had to save it for the very end of the episode. Your reaction in the previews is priceless though. You actually call Mike Popeye! Love it! Snooki's grade for the week: A.
Deena: I know it sucks to be single in a house full of couples, but you were definitely right to confront Joey about his behavior. And look what happened! He had another girl the whole time! Like the saying goes, better alone than with bad company. It sounds better in Spanish. Deena's grade for the week: A.
Sammi: I know I told you to just keep having fun and being nice and you did that so, good job! Sammi's grade for the week: A.
Vinny: I still would love to know how you came to the decision not to drink. And where you got the jert. The best part was you giving the guys a minute to make fun of it. Loved that. Vinny's grade for the week: A.
Pauly: Taking the bed out of the smush room was a little bit lame, especially since the girls you've been bringing home haven't been smush worthy much less smush room worthy. Why are you being such a hater? Pauly's grade for the week: C.
Ronnie: Love that you're still being fun and cool. Also, I love that you were nice to Angelina in da club. Sure, you were plastered, but at least you were being a happy drunk. Ronnie's grade for the week: A.
Mike: You know, sometimes, when things aren't meant to be, they're just not meant to be. Like your plan to ruin Snooki's relationship. Give it up, already. You just look ridiculous at this point. Mike's grade for the week: F.

Crabbing
This week's Jersey Shore was all about fun - at the shore, on the beach, on the dock, and in the smush room. Roger and Jenni are dealing with the aftermath of the fight at Karma, Jionni and Snooki don't see eye to eye, Ronnie plugs up the toilet and hangs out with Snooki, Mike sunbathes on the dock, Deena thinks she's going to get eaten by sharks, Snooki spends some time with Vinny, and Pauly D's stalker is creepier than ever.
Cabs are here, so let's go!
Jenni: I love that Roger only had to punch that creep once and he was laid the eff out right in the middle of Karma. He was not playing around. When you all got back to the shore house, Roger wanted to spend some time with the roommates while you were pooping, apparently (Roger said it!), which ultimately kept you waiting in the smush room for him. Yikes. I have a feeling that's one thing you don't want to do, is leave JWOWW waiting for you in the smush room, of all rooms, am I right? At least you're not fighting anymore. I really love you two as a couple. So adorbs. Anywhoo, you had an awesome time on the docks crabbing and fishing, but that wind looked horrendous. And you confronting the stalker made my day! Most awkward conversation EVER! On the Hook Up you revealed the stalker has a boyfriend and still stalks Pauly to this day. Scary! Jenni's grade for the week: A.
Deena: You were so funny on this episode. Sharks?! Sharks?! LOL! Too hilarious. I love that you're just ready for a good time no matter what. You and Snooki on the beach at night? Sure, why not! And you hitting on the cop was so funny. He was not having it. Next week you confront your boo Joey about some not nice things you've been hearing about him. No one messes with our Blast in a Glass! Deena's grade for the week: A.
Snooki: You and Lola were seriously made for each other. I can't believe you didn't have Lola in your life sooner. She is such a part of you now, it's not even funny. Also not funny - you berating Jionni for being sick. So wrong! Poor guy is puking his guts out and you're badgering him for sex? Not cool. You called him a sucky boyfriend, but in reality, you were being a sucky girlfriend. Sorry, still love ya, though. You were super sweet for buying that mini bike for Ron, and you bonded with Vinny big time on the boardwalk. I know you two will always be close, but I hope you've been more loyal to Jionni lately. I mean, if you're not going to be loyal to your boyfriend, why have one, right? Snooki's grade for the week: D.
Sammi: You were so funny on the docks trying to get Deena to stop fighting the imaginary sharks, it was hilarious. I still love that you're on everyone's good side and you seem to be having a great time. I don't even care if you have a storyline anymore. Just keep being cool. Sammi's grade for the week: A.
Mike: You weren't a total douche for once! I thought your sunbathing pose was beyond funny, especially when Vin put the crab on you. Are you that tired that you just fall asleep anywhere? Maybe you're narcoleptic? Mike's grade for the week: C (still annoying)
Ronnie: You had some great lines tonight about Roger being old and Snooki being short, so don't think I'm not gonna give you credit for that, because I am. I love how happy you are this season. Like I told Sam, you don't even need a storyline this season. I'm cool. Ronnie's grade for the week: A.
Vinny: You know better than to be lovey dovey with Snooki so I really hope you two don't smush. You told us on the Hook Up that you had quit drinking by the time you and Snooki were on the boardwalk together, so I'm figuring you were just babysitting her, which is fine. You two should just be friends. I wish you would have elaborated on the no drinking thing a little more. What was the reason behind that? Did it have to do with your anxiety? Vinny's grade for the week: B.
Pauly: You HAVE to get a handle on this stalker situation. It's still going on! She must be stopped!! May this be a lesson to you to not bring home random chicks from now on. Even though you would never hook up with Vanessa the stalker, the next one could actually get into your bed. And then what will become of you? Be careful, my dude! Pauly's grade for the week: C.

High on Life
This week was all about the love on Jersey Shore. Jenni and Roger work through their issues, Mike hooks up with Paula again, Deena brings Joey home again, and Sammi and Ronnie have a good laugh at the club. All in all, it was a fun episode. The drama didn't weigh the show down and the crazy provided a lot of funny moments.
So let's get started!
JWOWW: You and Roger were able to squash the beef between you and I'm so glad you did. Roger has a point. You gotta trust him. But he also needs to understand that he shouldn't keep you waiting either. Both of you apologized, so that's good. I'm happy you two are still together. I don't know if that hoochie dress was such a good idea, though. I know you used to wear much less to da club before Roger, but you both knew that dress was going to cause a stir. In your defense, you had no idea some idiot was going to actually grope you. Gross. Roger will no doubt handle the guy with relative ease on next week's show. Watch Jenni talk about the club incident on the Hook Up. JWOWW's grade for the week: B.
Deena: I'm so glad you got to hang out with Joey again. You two seem like a fun couple. He even endured Jenni and Snooki giving him a hard time when he was waiting for you at the house. The "We're Sorry Danny" cake debacle was pretty hilarious, too. I'm glad Danny forgave you and Snooki. There's no way you or Snooki can get fired on the last season of Jersey Shore! It just wouldn't be right. I like the fact that you just have fun no matter where you are, even at work. I can't wait to see you freak out about "sharks" next week. Deena's grade for the week: A.
Sammi: Watching you and Ronnie crack up at the club was probably my favorite moment of the season so far. It was pure comedy. I like how nice you were to Mike's friend Paula, too. You really are the Sweetheart this season. I love it! Sammi's grade this week: A.
Snooki: You finally went to the Doctor for your UTI! Finally! And no, you can't drink when you take antibiotics. Jeez louise. I hope you learned your lesson, young lady. I thought you were decent to Mike in this episode even though he was being Mr. Creepy there for a while. I think your best bet is to ignore him completely from now on. You and Deena had a fun day at work chasing each other, which made me laugh, so thanks for that. You and Jionni fight on next week's show, and it might have something to do with Mike. Go figure. Snooki's grade for the week: B.
Pauly: You ate the cake! You ate the friggin' cake! LOL! That was hilarious, but so, so wrong. Your little day out with your bromance partner Vinny was funny, too. You guys are the best. And you didn't bring home a swamp creature this week! Good job! Pauly's grade for the week: A.
Vinny: You laid low this episode for the most part, except to have your special day out with Pauly. Staying out of trouble is probably best - especially with your anxiety problems earlier this season. Keep having fun, Vin. Vinny's grade for the week: B.
Ronnie: Gumby ankles!! Laughing with your girl!! This is the Ronnie we love. You did throw Mike under the bus about cake-gate but come on, he was the most likely suspect. In fact, you said Pauly did it before accusing Mike. Oh well, either way, you're doing a great job of bringing the fun and not the drama this season. Ronnie's grade for the week: A.
Mike: You tried to stir up the drama, but it just wasn't working on this episode. Let me ask you why you need your buddies to help you cause problems? If you have something to say, why don't you just say it? Just curious. Do me a favor and drop the villain act and just spend time with Paula. You don't look like so much of an asshole when you're with her. She's nice (and kinda skanky which is perfect for you) and she actually likes you. So why not put your energy there? And no, I didn't feel sorry for you when you were falsely accused of eating the cake. You are a jerk and apparently eat other people's food all the time, according to Jenni on the Hook Up. So you gotta expect to get accused of that from time to time, even if it wasn't you. Deal with it. And don't ask Snooki to do anything involving whipped cream with you ever again. So disgusting. You need to re-evaluate your whole persona at this point, dude. Mike's grade for the week: D.

It's a War Zone
It's starting to heat up at the Jersey Shore house and there are a few really interesting storylines happening right now. Jenni confronts Roger, Pauly gets another stalker, Team Meatballs bails on work, and Mike decides to be the bad guy ... again.
Fist pump!
Jenni: I think you did what any girl would do when she's pushed to her limit. You lashed out. We've all been there. We have a valid point, but our delivery undermines the whole thing. You gave Roger a piece of your mind then hung up on him. Maybe that kind of tactic used to work with your ex, but Roger is a grown ass man. Unfortunately, he's the type to just let you wait by the phone because he's not going to engage in a mind game with you. He's straight up - he doesn't want to talk to you so he's not going to call you. It was wrong of him to put you on the back burner like that. But maybe if your approach was different, he might have responded differently. The point is, you were hurt, and that's why you flipped out. We know you're still together, so obviously, it's all good now. But like I said, we've all been in that spot. You did the right thing and let him say what he wanted to say. It's good that you were able to move on from there - probably with a better understanding of what to do when you feel he's not meeting your needs. Jenni's grade for the week: C.
Sammi: We didn't see too much of you in this episode. I want you to start interacting with the girls. Hell, have a day with the Meatballs. You might enjoy it! I'm sure you're having a good time, but it's just not getting on the show. I think it's great you're getting along with everyone, too. But we need a storyline for you. Let's see what the rest of the season has in store. Sammi's grade for the week: C.
Deena: Wingwoman extraordinaire! You really love these boys, otherwise you wouldn't pull all these stunts with them. You really are up for anything and you're a really good friend. I think that's why you're so likable. You're like the one person that's always fun and ready for a good time. Watching you and Snooki frolic still cracks me up. Leaving work wasn't the smartest move, but at least you apologized. And next week we see if the apology cake even makes it to Danny. Deena's grade for the week: B.
Snooki: You and Deena had a blast at work, and you introduced us to Lola, the bunny face who's a Vegas hooker. I love the stuff you come up with. I hope you apologized to Danny for leaving early, in addition to the cake, which we'll get to next week. Also, you treated Mike really well this week. That's gonna blow up in your face for sure. Just promise me this whole mess with Mike will be resolved by the end of the season. Your drunken escapades (walking home, falling off the hammock, sitting in the cardboard box) are always hilarious. You've clarified since that you're not always like that. I say, while filming the show, go for it. You know what makes reality tv - and you're not the most popular of the Guidettes for nothing. Snooki's grade for the week: B-.
Vinny: Have you ever heard the song "Pink Triangle" by Weezer? Suffice it to say it pretty much sums up your storyline this week. Not the best storyline you've ever had. Vinny's grade for the week: D.
Pauly: You have a lot of stalkers, you probably just don't realize it. It's the price you pay for being cute and charismatic. But this stalker looked like she wasn't playing with a full deck, so I appreciate you taking it easy on her and not embarrassing her in front of all those people. You gave her some small talk and then left the scene. Good for you. But let me ask you something, is she any less hideous than some of the girls you already brought home this season? Think about it. Pauly's grade for the week: C.
Ronnie: I noticed you came home alone from the club in one scene and it made me smile. You and Sam either really got along this season, or you just weren't being a douchebag. Both are good things. I'm glad you're the calm, fun Ronnie. So refreshing. Ronnie's grade for the week: A.
Mike: Ugh. I can't with you anymore. How much of a two-face are you? How do you act like you're friends with Snooki and then plan on creating more drama with her? After you guys already buried the hatchet, no less. Jeez. Then you talk crap about Deena's sister, who you don't have a right to talk about in the first place, in such a degrading manner. Because that's all women are to you, right? Well, guess what, jerkface, your day is coming, and it's not going to be pretty. You are the most hated cast member. Check out how that worked out for people like Kelly Killoren Bensimon and Jill Zarin. Idiot. Mike's grade for the week: F, as usual.

Electronics
This week on Jersey Shore, Mike explores the difference between being the nice guy and being the villain. Which one will he actually choose? Hmmm! Yeah, we all know. Anyway, Snooki battles a UTI and gets a visit from her father, who seems like an awesome guy. Jenni has problems with Roger. Vinny's still getting used to being back at the Shore House. Deena gets electrocuted, too, by the way. So much more happened, so let's get into it right now.
Snooki: I don't know whether to believe that you were being nice to Mike this week out of the goodness of your heart, or if you were trying to get in his head and play mind games with him. At first, I thought you were being sincere, and all you really said was that Mike should confront whoever he thinks is talking about him, but there was more to that conversation, apparently. Mike said on the Hook Up that you specifically said that Pauly was talking about him, and Deena pretty much confirmed it. Now, I understand, you were being real with the kid and probably told him everyone talks about him, including Pauly. Because they do! Everyone talks about him. What I don't understand is why Mike is so fixated on bringing you down. Maybe he's upset you two didn't end up together and your success is at a much higher level than his. Whatever the reason, I love that you just keep it moving. You are yourself and you don't apologize for it - UTI, peeing yourself, forgetting your dad's visit, whatever it is. Not that any of that is particularly admirable, but it is funny and makes for good tv, which is why I love you! Snooki's grade for the week: B-.
JWOWW: I'm so glad you had a storyline this week that didn't include playing mommy to the other girls in the house. Roger is playing games with you and I don't like it one bit. I read your book (The Rules According to JWOWW), and in the book you said you and Roger had a rough patch and that you two were trying to work it out. I don't think this was during this season just because of the timing of it, but every couple has their ups and downs. I'm glad you two are still together, but I definitely want you to work it out. I love you and Roger together. He better have a good excuse for being such a jerk. I can't wait for you to give him the business on next week's show. You go, girl! Jenni's grade for the week: A.
Sammi: You had a pretty tame week this week, but that doesn't mean I forgot about you. You're being a good friend to the girls, you're getting along with everyone, including Ron, and so far, so good. I'm glad we haven't seen bratty Sam come out. Keep it up! You're so likable this season. You and Deena talking about electricity was one of the funniest conversations ever on reality tv. Hilarious. Sammi's grade for the week: A.
Deena: It's called electricity, not electronics. But I'm not judging you, sweetheart. There's something so childlike about you - I just can't get mad at you when you say some of the things you say on the show. I think you're hilarious. I loved the bunny costume pranks you did with Snooki, too, by the way. You bring joy to the house where some of the roommates can sometimes get sucked into the drama too much. Just keep being you, because I enjoy every minute of it. And be careful with those blow dryers from now on! Deena's grade for the week: B+.
Ronnie: Forgive me if I'm repeating myself, but your facial expressions are everything. You've been super funny on every episode this season, and I love it. Happy Ronnie is the best ever. Ronnie's grade for the week: A.
Pauly: You are such a typical guy. When Mike confronts you about talking about him (or having a problem with him), you smile and say everything is fine. You know you make fun of him with the other guys! But of course, you don't say that. You just laugh it off. Now, I'm not saying that's bad, I'm just saying that could have been a great moment for you to call Mike out on his foolishness and let him know he does get on everyone's nerves, not just Snooki. But maybe you were just trying to be nice and avoid making him feel worse. I get it, but seriously, it would have been nice if you would have just been real with Mike for a second. Pauly's grade for the week: C.
Vinny: You're still adjusting to being back in the craziness that is the Jersey Shore, and by adjusting, I mean, making out with random girls in da club. You're still kind of moody, so check that. And just have fun! I hope your anxiety is better. Vinny's grade for the week: B-.
Mike: I left you for last because I want to put off talking about you as long as possible. You're exhausting! You're up, you're down, you're back up ... Oy vey! Just get over the petty sh*t and grow up. I definitely like you better when you're nice. But everyone can see it's not sincere. Work on yourself and see how people react differently to you. I'm so glad this is the last season of Jersey Shore. Maybe after the show is over you'll find your true self and leave this "Situation" bullsh*t in the past forever. Mike's grade for the week: F.

Let Go, Let God
Last night's episode of Jersey Shore was super upbeat - despite a fight in da club - and I'm totally ok with that! I love to see these kids having fun and getting along. Sometimes the camaraderie is even better than the drama. So just to recap, the girls give Mike and Pauly a surprise birthday party, Danny interviews people to take Vin's place, and the gang bumrushes Vinny's house in Staten Island in an attempt to get him to come back to the Shore with them.
Now, let's get to the dirt!
JWOWW: Finally! You have some awesome scenes in this episode, including actually working, tearing down the help wanted sign (then putting one back up), and getting scared outta your mind by Snooki's bunny costume. I love seeing you interact with everyone, so this was definitely a good episode for you. And Roger was there! I love you two together. He needs to visit you more often this season. JWOWW's grade for the week: A.
Sammi: LOVE the fact that you laughed off the fight in da club. And your reasoning behind getting in the fight in the first place was hysterical. You're right, someone can't just grab your newly weave that you just got. No they can't. You were really eager to help with the birthday party and I couldn't help but remember how lazy and uninterested in everyone else you used to be. I gotta say, I'm proud of you. our little guidette has grown up. Sammi's grade for the week: A.
Deena: You had some really funny scenes on the show this week. I thought you and Snooki at the party supply store was hilarious - but then again I am Team Meatballs. You had some great moments, like when you bonded with Ron over missing Vinny. And your friend (smush partner) was cool. Now, as for that alarm clock business - I'm sure that thing had an OFF button, right? Just saying. Deena's grade for the week: B+.
Snooki: Jenni and Sammi mentioned how you only want to spend time with Jionni anymore. I smell some drama with the girls coming up. My advice? Take some time out to bond with the girls. Don't fall off the face of the earth just because you and Jionni are doing well. As for this episode, you were so funny. The bunny costume was genius and I just love your "heart attack" moment. And the fact that no one paid any attention to it. They know you too well. You were super nice to Mike on this episode, which was cool of you. But I have a feeling he's going to mess it up. Again. Snooki's grade for the week: B+.
Ronnie: You showed your emotional side when talking about missing Vinny, which we don't get to see very often. What am I saying? We do get to see your emotional side quite a bit! At least in other seasons we did. I guess I mean we usually see you drunk and emotional. This time it was a little bit different. I'm glad your friend is back for good, though. And you were majorly supportive with Sammi and her fight. Good job! Ronnie's grade for the week: A.
Pauly: You had probably the best birthday week ever. The surprise party was a success, and you brought home another woofer. Seriously, your eyes are in major need of some assistance. What you see in these girls to call them hot is beyond me. But anyway, Vinny's back, and your whole life is complete again. I want you to come up with a new catchphrase just for Vinny. Come on. Pauly's grade for the week: B-.
Mike: See what happens when you're nice? People are nice back to you! What a concept! But I'm sure you'll find a way to stir up trouble and burn everyone again. Mike's grade for the week: A (but only for this week).
Vinny: You came back! You look great and you have a new attitude. I'm glad you're in good spirits again. It probably wasn't enough time to get yourself 100% better, but your friends needed you. I mean, a new roommate at this point would have been way too much drama. And it's the last season. You knew you had to come back and finish it out with them. Your tattoo is probably very special to you, but keep in mind, you may have to explain the concept to some juiceheads who won't get the reference, cough cough, Ronnie. Keep yourself positive, and have some fun! Vinny's grade for the week: A.

He's My Soul
Jersey Shore is full effect! We're three episodes in, so that means we're in the swing of things, the tone has been set, and it's just a roller coaster ride from here on out. Vinny went home at the end of the last episode to work on his anxiety issues, leaving the rest of the roommates with heavy hearts. It also happens to be Pauly and Mike's birthday weekend (who knew their birthdays were a day apart?), but Pauly ends up getting all the love in the house. This makes Mike even more depressed than usual.
Now that we're all caught up, let's chop it up!
JWOWW: I feel like you're fading into the background a lot. Your scenes this week were taking care of drunk Deena and being lazy at work. I need to see you do more than be the mom of the house and dance at da club with a drink in your hand. Have fun with the girls! Have Roger come over! Do something! Hopefully you'll bring some more of that JWOWW fun as the season goes on. JWOWW's grade for the week: C.
Sammi: Your facial expressions are friggin' priceless. When the Bosnian wouldn't take the hint that she either had to put out or get out, you were like, "He ain't kiddin'!" LOL! I really like how you're being so calm and relaxed and really just having a good time this season. Ronnie recently said in an interview that you and he are just friends now, and it made me kind of sad, seeing you two get along so well this season, I thought maybe you two could make it work? Anyway, you're a doll. You give some good dish on the hook-up this week, too. Sammi's grade for the week: A.
Deena: I felt so bad for you when the girls (and Pauly) were literally ripping your extensions out. Oy. That's gotta hurt. You explained on the hook-up that you had gone swimming on Meatball Day, and your clip ins got tangled up in your fused extensions, which had already gone through the ringer in Italy. Could MTV not give you guys a week to get yourselves together between Italy and Jersey?! Bastards! Anyway, you were hilarious on this episode, as always. Speaking of Meatball Day, I think you and Snooks should limit it to like Meatball Luncheon or Meatball Evening from 7 to 9 pm. That day drinking is just not a good look for either of you. Just saying. You got a tad bit emotional over Vinny leaving, but he's your good guy friend, so I'm not judging. I like that you care that much about people. Not many people are that invested in their friendships anymore. Deena's grade for the week: B.
Snooki: You avoided another "Unit" disaster thanks to a brawl in da club without even knowing it. Mike and his friend were planning on ruining yet another night with Jionni for you, and I, for one, am glad that their plan was foiled. I like you and Jionni together. But what was with you telling Jionni you weren't going to cheat on him when he was leaving the house? Was it because it was going to be Meatball Day and he was suspicious you and Deena were going to have a repeat of the infamous Riccione trip? I felt like that was so out of the blue for you to say, especially when you two have been getting along so well lately, despite Mike's best efforts to break you guys up. At any rate, Meatball Day seemed like a blast, at least your hair wasn't a hot tangled mess, anyway. But I want to give you the same advice as I gave Deena: no more day drinking. I'll leave it at that. You were saddened by the news of Vinny leaving, but you held it together, and assured Jionni that Vinny's your friend, nothing more. You can't blame Jionni for asking. Snooki's grade for the week: B.
Ronnie: Thank you for not being scary this season. I'd much rather enjoy happy, funny, joking around Ronnie, which is what we got this episode. I loved the prank on Mike at the restaurant (who falls asleep at a restaurant anyway?). But I will say, you and Sammi need to have some romantic date nights this season. We need to see this love story through to the end, even if you aren't together now. I felt bad for you at the Shore Store - since you said Mike and Jenni don't do anything - but hey, we all have coworkers like that. You should use RonRon Juice as an incentive. If they don't do their share at work, no RonRon Juice. That might work. And rumor has it RonRon Juice will be in stores soon! Congrats! Ronnie's grade for the week: A.
Vinny: We got to see you go home on this episode, which I have to admit, was bittersweet. Your mom is such a great lady, though. It was like she was assessing how you were feeling just by looking at you. Can't wait till you come back to the Shore house. Oh and the gang goes to Staten Island next week to kidnap you, only it looks like you're not home. Bummer! Vinny's grade for the week: N/A.
Pauly: I think you need an eye exam. You're bringing home THE WORST girls this season. Not that I condone your promiscuity or anything. But damn. First the klepto, then the busted tattoo chick, now, the weirdo who won't leave but won't do the damn thing, either. #PaulyDproblems! Anyway, your birthday weekend was quite the celebration. Your whole family came to Seaside, including your "bah-buh" (barber), which I thought was a great gift from your mom. You with your hair soft and not blown out is a sight to behold. Amazing. Please tell me you'll let us see that again this season. I can only imagine how awkward it must have been to have such a great birthday while Mike is staring daggers at you because no one is paying attention to him. It's not your fault he's burned all his bridges. Pauly's grade for the week: B.
Mike: First of all, I have to address your severe martyr complex you got goin'. Here's a reality check. When you push everyone away, stir up trouble with everyone, and burn all your bridges with people, THEY AREN'T GOING TO WANT TO BE YOUR FRIEND ANYMORE!!! Seriously, are you that delusional that you don't understand that? You whine about no one celebrating your birthday with you, but you take no responsibility for ruining your friendships with them in the first place! You say you're the bad guy and cry about it, but you purposely meddle in other people's lives and call yourself the villain - laughing and smiling the whole time. So which is it? Because if you're really the villain, you won't care about people not liking you. So figure it out. Oh and you're "leaving" is a bunch of bullsh*t, too. Did you even pack a bag? Ugh. Mike's grade for the week: F.

Jersey Shore was quite emotional on Thursday night - what with Vinnie leaving to deal with his anxiety issues and all. The rest of the cast seems to be lost without him, but the laughs and drama will no doubt continue in Vinny's (short) absence.
So let's get down to the nitty gritty of the episode!
Vinny: I can totally understand why you had to leave. I know it made your roommates upset, but you have to take care of yourself first. Anxiety and depression is no joke, and the best thing you could have done is to take some time out to get better. Especially if this is something you've been dealing with since you were a teenager. I know you'll come back, so it'll be nice to see you jump right back into the swing of things. Plus, you're raising awareness and probably sparking a dialogue for kids who may have the same problem. Vinny's grade for the week: A.
Pauly: You get the Dummy of the Week award. First, you burn your face off from tanning too much. Then, you bring home a skank whore who steals your chain just so she can come back and see you again (and get more camera time). I know you wanna hit Jersey "hord" for this last season, but you need to take a step back and make some better choices. I felt for you when Vinny left, being your bff and all, but I'm sure you want him to get better more than anyone. Vinny's grade for the week: C.
Mike: I honestly want you to redeem yourself by the end of the season. I think you should stick with your girl Paula, drop the fight with Snooki, and ditch the "villain" persona once and for all. That's all I have to say to you. Mike's grade for the week: C.
Ronnie: You really tried to convince Vinny to stay, but nothing you did or said would have made a difference. You're super funny this season, which is definitely my favorite side of Ronnie. Keep it up, bro! Ronnie's grade for the week: A.
Deena: I appreciate you on this show SO much. Just the comedic value alone is worth the price of admission. Your scene with the perfume was so hilarious. I love that you reconnected with a past boy toy, because that keeps you from salivating over Pauly. I'm not too excited about your upcoming drunken foolishness, but a Meatball doesn't change overnight, I guess. Deena's grade for the week: B.
Jenni: I wish we had more JWOWW moments on the show. I hate that you've been relegated to background player, but I'm hoping that will change as the season goes on. Jenni's grade for the week: B.
Sammi: You're still on my good side, and I love it! I love nice Sammi! All I can say is - I hope it lasts. Sammi's grade for the week: A.
Snooki: Despite being falling-down-drunk at Karma, you had a pretty good episode, all in all. You and Jionni are still going strong, and I think that's awesome. Stay away from Mike and his drama, and make it a fun last season. Snooki's grade for the week: B.
The After Hours show focused mostly on Snooki and Mike - who are both adamant that the other is lying about the hooking up allegations. Mike ends up leaving, saying he doesn't want to keep making Snooki upset. Could it be he's tired of defending himself because it's not entirely true? Or is this just a plotline in progress? I'm officially over this storyline, so the sooner it's settled, the better. The previews for the next episode show Mike leaving - but this I'm positive that it's only temporary. He'll be back. Just like Vinny. Check out the After Hours show here.
The Hook Up with Deena, Sammi, and Mike was pretty good. I like Kenny Santucci as a host. I wish he would host the After Hours show instead of that Amy chick. They discussed all the major plot points, and Mike talked about his behavior on the show. You can watch it here.

The Beginning of the End
I love me some Jersey Shore. Just ask my Twitter followers. I practically shut Twitter down when I live tweet an episode. But, frankly, I'm glad this is the last season. I'm looking forward to the spin offs (Snooki and JWOWW, Pauly D), and I think ending it with one last blast in Jersey is the only right thing to do. Mazel, MTV, you're giving this show the send-off season it deserves.
So let's get cracking on the season premiere, shall we?!
Snooki: You are the center of attention, again, as you most certainly should be. I don't like that the Mike-Unit-Jionni storyline is not only alive and well, but it's at the forefront of the very first episode of the season. Oy. We're as sick of it as you are. I used to believe that you were only half lying when you said you didn't hook up with Mike, but now, it seems like you're 100% guilty. Just admit it, tell Mike this round is over, and focus on having fun in Seaside. We know you're still with Jionni, so either way, you win. He's a good guy, despite his tendency to be a little immature and dramatic. But hey, I think you two are cute together. I just hope you settle this whole Mike problem and give us lots of laughs this season. Oh, and dump your skank friend Ryder. That girl is poison. Seriously, she slept with practically all of your guy roommates. Not cute. I say cut her loose and let her be a ho on someone else's reality show. Snooki's grade for the week: C.
Jenni: You're the self-proclaimed "Mom" of the group, and I think you play that part beautifully. You're constantly looking out for everyone else, but you also like to be in the drama just enough to give your two cents. I, personally, love it. I love that you care about your roomies, and I think you were right to give Snooki the 411 in the bathroom re: Mike and "The Unit". I love your relationship with Roger, and I hope we see him more this season. And your dad is so adorable! I love that you two are close. I want you to have fun this season and wreak havoc with the girls. That's the proper way to see our JWOWW! Jenni's grade for the week: A.
Sammi: You're starting out on the positive side with me this season - PLEASE don't mess it up! I don't want to hear any "STAAAAAP-uh!!!" from you at all, do I make myself clear?! Ok, good. Seriously, though, I like you and Ronnie together this season, since it's the last one, and all. I think you were right to tell Mike up front that you don't want any problems with him - although that may not stop him from trying any monkey business, but at least you were straight forward with him. Control your jealousy issues with Ron, and you two will be Prom King and Queen of the Jersey Shore forever. Sammi's grade for the week: B.
Deena: I friggin' love you. I don't care what people say about you - I see the fun, cheerful, kind-hearted girl that you are. I have one piece of advice, though. DO NOT wait around for Pauly to kiss you. You did that in Italy, and it got you nowhere. Just have fun, don't get too drunk, and have a BLAST! It was sad to watch you sit at the foot of the bed while Pauly and Skank Ryder just stared at you. Don't let Pauly's escapades get you down. He's your friend. If it was meant to be, it would have happened a long time ago. And don't let Vinny's funk get you in a funk, either. Pretty much stay funk free, okie dokie? Deena's grade for the week: C.
Ryder: I know you're not a cast member, but I have to address you right here, right now. Um, how low is your self esteem these days? I feel bad for you, because you have absolutely no problem getting down with (or trying to anyway) whoever you can in a group of dudes who all happen to live together on a reality show. Hmmm. Seriously, if you're a true friend of Snooki's, you'd take your trashbox hooker (TM: Nene Leakes) ways to someone else's shore house. If you were my friend, I would have sat you down a long time ago, and pleaded with you to not be such a hobag. Sorry. It had to be said. Ryder's grade for the week: F.
Ronnie: Good first episode, I have to say. No breaking of things, no throwing of things, I mean, you're much more likable when you're not angry. Much like The Hulk. Anyway, I love seeing you laughing and having a good time. And I do like you and Sammi together, as I mentioned before. Keep calm, and you'll have a great season. I like how you were consoling Vinny, also. You're a good friend, for sure. Ronnie's grade for the week: A.
Vinny: I felt for you on this episode, even though we know that you do leave the house and then come back. You were the most affected by the surprise party, and I think I know why. You guys had just finished taping the show in Italy, and then you have to come back to the US - not to go home and take a breather, but to tape another season. That's almost unprecedented. I thought it was so strange that MTV would have them tape two seasons back to back with no break in between. But if it's the last season, that may have been part of the negotiations, or maybe it was agreed upon so MTV could get the show back on the air as soon as possible. Either way, Vinny, you just weren't ready to get back on the ferris wheel so soon. I'm glad you come back and finish the season out. You had to. It's not Jersey Shore without Vinny. Vinny's grade for the week: B.
Pauly: Ugh, Pauly. How could you? With Ryder. Really? I'm not even gonna get into it again because it was disgusting enough watching it, much less writing about it. Bleh. Gross. Moving on, your enthusiasm about getting back to GTL was hilarious. You really are the cheerleader of this show. I like that you and Vinny are still besties. Just make sure your hookups are out of Deena's sight so she doesn't get super depressed. Oh and take your shirt off as often as possible. Thanks. Pauly's grade for the week: C.
Mike: Well, you've managed to transition from bad guy in Italy to annoying guy in Jersey. Congratulations. Hopefully, you'll drop the villain role and just go back to being the happy-go-lucky party animal that we met the first season. I understand you have an ax to grind with Snooki, but it's getting old really fast - kind of like your face. I know that was mean, but come on! For as much moisturizer as you use, your face is busted! Oh, and I think you and Unit make a real nice couple. Mazel tov, Mike. Mike's grade for the week: D.

When Does Season 5 Start?
Is it bad that I've waited this long to write this blog on the Jersey Shore finale and reunion?
Maybe because it was pretty anti-climactic ... let's talk about it anyway.
Mike just came home from the club - drunk out of his mind - and thinks he's home alone. He practices his karate moves (and farts while doing so?). Snooki has stayed home for the night, and is woken up by Mike talking to himself. Mike realizes she's there and creepily stares at her while she "sleeps". Creepy!
The rest of the roommates come home and Ronnie wakes Mike up to give him a reality check. Ronnie tells him to quit causing trouble and try to mend some fences, or else he can forget about being a part of the crew. Mike is hesitant, basically saying he could care less whether people like him or not. Ronnie, of all people, telling someone to apologize is just a funny scene in itself. And I love Sammi stroking Ron's ego about talking to Mike. She cracks me up. She is SO in love with that kid.
The kids have their last day at work at the pizzeria. It does look like a cool place to work, and at least Marco has a great sense of humor about his dysfunctional summer employees. Pauly is being a clown, as usual, which I love, but I can see where it might get annoying after the 10th "I'm on BREAK!"
Back at the mansion, Sammi and Ronnie decide to christen the smush room one last time, apparently in the middle of the day, when all the roommates are home. AWKWARD! Then, they have to do the walk of shame inside the friggin' house! Pauly times their smush session, and concludes that that must be the reason Sammi doesn't smile very often. I don't even want to think about them smushing, let alone time it and make assumptions based on it. As long as they aren't fighting, I'm cool with them doing whatever they want.
Mike calls his sister and tells her he's not going to Jersey. Which is such a crock, it's not even funny. Snooki hits it on the head, it's his choice, not our problem. But we all know, Mike is going to Jersey.
The crew (minus a sick Jenni) go out to da club. Team Meatballs wants to leave, because they're bored. They go to another club and have - what else - a blast! Then, they encounter a drunk clone of themselves. The funniest part is when Deena tells her, "You're being an annoying!" LOL - now you know how we feel, Dee!
Pauly sends a drunk girl home because she's too drunk - even for him. While walking home with Snooks, Deena is BOMBED, takes off her pumps, and gives a tree a couple hugs and a little show. LOL! Her feet were pretty much covered in Italian street residue by the time she gets home.
The kids go back to the pizzeria to give a piece of their clothing to Marco to hang on his laundry line. It's a sweet gesture, and their choices of what to give him are hilarious - panties, bra, T shirts, etc. And I'm sure Deena's thong was clean ... come on guys, it had to have been, right? They say goodbye to the pizzeria bunch, and it's a little sad - you can tell they actually bonded with them.
The kids go on a touristy-tour, and Mike separates himself from the crew every chance he gets. I understand he really doesn't feel comfortable around these people anymore, but come on. Just participate and have a good time. I think Mike's problem is his immaturity. He's the oldest cast member, but he's the least mature. It's a joke. At this point, he needs to stop whining and start acting like a man - a grown man.
Snooki and Deena provide the majority of the laughs during the tour, from saying they'd "do" the statue of David, to asking whether the "babies wit' wings" are real. Hilarious!
After the tour, Mike decides to apologize in a very rehearsed and fake-sounding manner. No wonder no one takes this guy seriously. It's like he's always posing for the cameras, even after the novelty has worn off. Jenni is absolutely right when she says Mike's apology is BS - he realized he needs the show to continue his shenanigans. So he's not sorry for his actions, he's just sorry people don't like him anymore. The crew goes out one last time, and the boys stop Mike from making an even bigger ass of himself. He just wants attention - doesn't matter if it's good or bad.
Later, Team Meatballs decides to put all the dried up, dead plants from their patio on the dining room table. Oy. Did no one think to water those poor plants?! They seriously cram every plant and vase and decoration they can onto the table. The roommates aren't amused. Mike volunteers to make breakfast, so the rotten garden has to go back outside for good. Everyone is so excited to get back to Jersey as soon as possible. Mike announces he is going back to Jersey - BIG SURPRISE! Yeah, right! Hopefully, Mike will chill out and not be an ass in Jersey. Well, let's just hope.
I honestly cannot wait for Season 5. I have a feeling it'll be a lot more FUN, which I'm dying to see. That's what I want from this show - fun, silliness, a little bit of drama, and a lot of Ron-Ron-Juice.
Now, let's talk about the reunion. It was pretty lame. We already know a lot of what's been going on since Italy. Snooki is still with Jionni, she and Jenni are still friends despite having their issues, Mike and Snooki are still not friends. No real revelations or surprises at all. And that host is the worst. I would rather see Kenny Santucci from The Hookup host this thing. Speaking of The Hookup, that was lame too. It was all the same information regurgitated back up again. Just show us season 5, already!

Quite A Situation
Sorry this blog is so late, but I couldn't not give my two cents about this next-to-last episode of our Jersey Shore in Italy ... so here goes ...
We pick up where we left off, Snooks is confessing to Jionni having sex with Vinny in her drunken after-break-up haze. Jionni doesn't blow up, he just says he can't call Nicole his "girlfriend" right now, and tells her he doesn't know how they're going to get through this. I'm proud of the kid for not freaking out, and handling this in a mature way. Nicole does deserve to be broken up with, and Jionni isn't going to just let this go without letting her know how much she's hurt him. Sometimes you have to take yourself out of the equation for the other person to realize that their actions have consequences. Point for Jionni.
On to the next dysfunctional relationship in the house, Deena's unrequited love for Pauly. She's been after him since day one. And she hasn't been subtle about it. This is the girl who screamed "Do you like the boobs?" on the Jersey Shore to a total stranger. Yes, yes we do. Now put them away. Pauly is trying desperately to spare Dee's feelings, since, as Vinny puts it, Pauly's not into "Meatballs". If it's just a matter of personal preference, and he's truly not sexually attracted to her, he should just be up front with her and tell her that he doesn't have those feelings towards her, but he loves her as a friend. Their friendship is pretty amazing. They obviously get along and make each other happy as friends. It's normal for a girl to take that and want to turn it into a romantic relationship. The line between the two gets all kinds of blurry for girls all the time. But it takes a man to tell his friend that he loves being her friend, but doesn't want to take it to the romantic level. It's the least he can do for a true friend. Pauly avoids Deena's advances, but that doesn't stop her from embarrassing herself a few times. When Deena drinks, the verbal gold just pours out of her mouth. In her words, she has no shame. Again, this is why I love Deena.
Snooks and Deena drown their sorrows in beer and wine in Florence, dressed like Jersey Housewives' little sisters. At 11 am. They pretty much terrorize Florence for a couple of hours. Jersey Turnpike lessons? Check. Dancing on the bar in daylight? Check.
We have to talk about Mike using the hairy toothbrush. On second thought, maybe we don't. Gross.
The kids go out for the last Saturday night in Italy, and it may just be me, but it sounds like they just want to get it over with. Like this entire trip. No one is more done with this than Jenni. At da club, she's clearly fed up with Snooks and Deena's antics. Then, she and Sammi bond over playing mommy to Team Meatballs. Who'da thunk?
Mike gets the crowd to chant something derogatory to him and puffs up his chest and acts like he's going to take on the entire mob. Of course, there are security guards protecting him the whole time.
The kids leave da club, and Team Meatballs decides to hit up another club, only this one is full of creepy dudes who just stand 2 feet away staring at them dance. Not a good time. Then, the bartender (of all people) starts throwing ice at Snooki and Deena! How unprofessional is that? Dude, you can't hate these ladies that much to screw yourself out of a hefty tip. Team Meatballs goes on the offensive and starts pushing over bottles. You know what, that's what that moron gets for being rude to our girls. All he had to do was make nice with them, and they would have left peacefully. Aren't bartenders supposed to be nice to everyone? Maybe that's just here in the U.S.
Angry Deena comes out and it is absolutely amazing. She's probably the angriest we've ever seen her. She storms into the house screaming, meanwhile Snooki explains what happened. Jenni and Sam try to calm them down, but the irritation is palpable. Team Meatballs decide to unwind in the hot tub (which is hot). In her interview, Snooki gives us one more catchphrase: "Meatball Problems!" and a trending topic is born. Team Meatballs goes out again (still drunk), dressed like Jersey streetwalkers. They're loving it! And so are we. Snooki sums up the entire season in one sentence: "We're so out of our element, it's sick." They go out for drinks again - mimosas this time. Everything is going well, until they fall asleep at the restaurant. Also not a good time. They finally get kicked out and go home and pass out. Meatball Problems!
Ron burns the barbeque (and puts the fire out, prompting Ron to call himself a firefighter ... ummm, YEAH!!), so he and Sammi go grocery shopping together. And they don't fight! Awesome! While preparing dinner, Jenni asks Deena to do the dishes. She declines. Mike - who isn't even helping either - decides to berate Deena and scream at her to do the dishes and "be a woman". Ugh. Deena freaks out, chucks a spatula at Mike and tells him to shut the eff up. When Mike says he's going to go "low blow", which I'm assuming means that he's about to say something terribly inappropriate, Deena torpedoes Mike by screaming "You're gonna call me fat? That's what you call every woman! I can lose weight for free, but you need about 10 grand to fix your f*cking face!" BOOM! That, ladies and gentlemen, is how you win an argument. Mike can't even respond, he walks away like the coward he is.
Everyone is sick of Mike, now. Including Vinny, who makes the awesome point that when everyone in the house hates you, you must be doing something wrong.
Jenni and Sammi laugh about how they're friends now. See? There are nice moments in this show.
Last Sunday dinner goes pretty well. But all they can talk about it going back to Jersey. Vinny puts a damper on the mood by claiming "his" room in Jersey already. Sammi wants a "compromization" (LOL), but Vinny won't budge. The underlying issue is that NO ONE wants to room with Mike. The tension takes over and Sammi is starting to freak out. Snooki says they should just put Mike in the garbage can, then tells the group that she doesn't want Mike around. Mike says he's not going to Jersey, to which Snooki squeals, "Bye!' Seriously, Mike, you know where you're not wanted, so just take it like a man, and leave. Mike says he doesn't know how to take the high road. Big surprise.
Mike creates drama because he's bored and wants attention, whether it's good or bad. He doesn't care. He loves the attention and he loves to play the victim. This is very common in reality stars. What is Mike going to do? Go to Jersey? Not go to Jersey? Guess we'll have to stay tuned to find out.
Everyone basically agrees that Mike needs to change, and won't. So it's a lost cause at this point.
Vinny and Pauly semi-consummate their bromance. Sweet.
In the most hilarious turn of events ever, Mike gets himself locked in Deena's bathroom. After a few laughs, Ron lets him out. Aw! Mike should have stayed in there and pondered his life's purpose.
Everyone goes to da club and has a great time, except Mike. He picks a fight because he's unhappy with his situation (forgive me). So he picks a random fight with a random dude so he can feel good about himself. No one is there to back Mike up. He truly is alone and it hits him like a ton of bricks. He goes home, defeated, talking to himself, calling himself the "bad guy". Someone help this guy, please. Whoever handles Kelly Bensimon would probably be best qualified to handle this basketcase.
Next week is the season finale ... can't wait to see how Mike antagonizes everyone once again. What are your thoughts on this episode? Tweet me!

The Emancipation of Snooki
Well, what an eventful Jersey Shore we had this week!
I won't go over all the gory details, but I will give my opinions on what happened - and not in any particular order.
First, let's talk about Deena's pregnancy scare. I really wish the producers would have some kind of calendar or something on the show so we can see how far into the season certain things happen. This week's episode would have been perfect for this. I need to know how far into the trip Deena was when she thought she might be pregnant. A couple weeks? The first couple of days? It's not unheard of for the producers/editors to put certain events out of chronological order to make the episodes somewhat cohesive. So I'm wondering why we've seen Deena down gallons of alcohol and she's never once mentioned worrying about possibly being pregnant. And I don't think she's the type to keep this kind of information to herself for too long. I like the friendship between her and Jenni, by the way.
Speaking of Jenni, she gets the "Best Friend Ever" award. Jenni has changed so much. Don't get me wrong, I've always been a JWOWW fan. But now she seems very mature and nurturing as opposed to the girl in Miami that couldn't wait to punch Sammi in the face. (But seriously, how funny was that fight? Good times.) I totally understand why Jenni didn't want to necessarily wake up and spend time with Snooki after the night they all had. According to the After Show, they had been up till 7 am with all the drama. Not fun. So when Snooki decided she needed to get out of the house, Jenni just wasn't in the mood. I don't blame her. Snooki probably didn't remember all of the details - she was tipsy - and who knows if she remembered screaming in Jenni's face. I commend Jenni for apologizing for not being there for Snooks later, though. That was big of her and just shows how much their friendship means to both of them. True friends do have arguments sometimes, but they always find a way to get through it and move on, and it usually brings them even closer.
Do I have to talk about Mike? I guess so. In a word: creepy. Ok, another word: disgusting. Alright, I'll just vent here. Mike is a total douche for bringing up the whole alleged Snooki hookup again. Especially using the language he did. It was uncalled for and gross. Dude, grow up. Nobody cares. This guy is so desperate for attention, it's sad. In a way, I hope the next season is the last so he can finally fade into obscurity.
Now, for the main event. Miss Snooki herself. I said it last week, and I'll say it again. This is how you remain relevant on a reality show. Snooki freed herself from Jionni's grasp only after humiliating herself by begging him to stay and learning that his family already booked him a flight home. This guy seems nice and all, but he's got issues. First of all, he should have stayed and dealt with the problem himself, not called up mommy and daddy to rescue him. Secondly, he knew what he was getting into when he became exclusive with Nicole/Snooki. Third, and lastly, he should give respect to get respect - and storming off like a child throwing a tantrum is no way to earn someone's respect. Be a real man, and your girl will always respect you. BOOM! Now, back to Snooks. I think once the haze of Jionni was gone, she could see herself clearly for the first time, and she didn't like what she had become. Too often, young women depend on the man in their life to define them and assign them value - so when the man is angry at them or leaves them, they feel as if they have no value at all. Which is total bullshit. No matter what you think of Snooki, she's a person with feelings and she was devastated by what happened. Watching her cry made me sad. But when she finally snapped out of it and decided to let him go, I felt good for her. I don't doubt these two love each other, like I said last week, but they are just not compatible at this time (these particular episodes). A lot must have changed since Italy, because they look very happy now. Let's hope they've worked on their trust and control issues and have learned to love each other as they are. No one wants to be with someone who wants to change them. Love the person for exactly who they are and your relationship will only benefit from it. Unless you can't stand who they really are, and in that case, you need to break up immediately.
Next week is the aftermath of Snooki and Vinny's hookup, which I can't say surprised me at all. These two will always have a connection. Doesn't mean they should act on it. Oh well, live and learn!

How to Lose a Guy in 10 Hours
Snooki continues to be the main attraction on Jersey Shore. She single-handedly dominates this week's episode with such ease, the rest of the cast should take note. This is how you remain relevant on a reality show.
First, the accident, which turns out to be nothing more than a fender bender. Snooks and Deena are carted off to the police station only because the boys take too long to get to the scene. After all the hubbubb, Snooks is prohibited from driving in Italy and has to pay a fine and just like that, Team Meatballs is free to roam Florence again.
Snooki can now focus her attention on Jionni's upcoming visit. She tells us that she can't wait to ... spend time with him ... in the biblical sense. We get it, Snooks, you want to jump his bones, got it. Unfortunately, Jenni's boyfriend Roger can't come to Italy with Jionni as planned because he has to work. Now, Roger is older than most of the roommates, I believe Mike is the only one in the house in his age bracket, so I chalk it up to him just being a mature, hardworking guy. Jenni is crushed, but she understands that if Roger could be there, he would, but he can't. Bravo on being mature about it, Jenni!
Jionni finally arrives, and Nicole greets him at the front door in tears. It's so touching to see them actually getting along. They immediately go upstairs and argue because Jionni wants to take a shower before going to the smush room. Calm down, gurl, you have, like, 7 more hours with the kid.
In a deleted scene on mtv.com, we see that Nicole and Jionni have a wonderful dinner together before they hit da club.
Now, things get interesting. Mike is paranoid and inexplicably talks about kicking Jionni in the face for no reason. Apparently, Mike is hallucinating an unspoken, totally invisible fight happening between he and Nicole's beloved. Deena gets a point for calling him "kung fu panda", good one Dee! Anywhoo, at the club Mike tells Nicole that he's ready to fight Jionni, in so many words, and she tells him to relax. Yes, Mike. Chill. Nobody cares about you anymore.
Snooki then takes Jionni onto the dancefloor and starts to dance for him. At least she thought that's what she was doing. According to him, she's just embarrassing him. She did pull her dress up and show off her underwears, as Deena would say. Jionni takes off, rather dramatically, I must say. Everyone including Snooki runs after him. I gotta say, Snooki is nothing if not determined. She was not going to take his tantrum lying down, well, except for her falling in the street.
Snooki is obviously drunk, so I really can't say I'm surprised she got crazy in da club. Jionni shouldn't be surprised either. On the hookup on mtv, the roommates make a great point: Jionni needs to understand that when he gets into a relationship with Nicole (sweet, sober, and sane), he's also getting into a relationship with Snooki (crazy, drunk, and crazy). I feel sorry for both of them, honestly. Hear me out.
Snooki is perfectly consistent. Since day one of season one, she's been the same girl. Yes, the clothes and the hair have changed, but the craziness and silliness has always remained. This is why we love her. Now, maybe we haven't seen the fighting side as much as we do this season, but it's not surprising. Snooki has always stood up for herself, and maybe she's under more pressure or stress this time around because she actually loves this kid and there's a lot of chips stacked against this relationship right now. Back to the episode at hand.
Snooki is not in her right mind, and she's lashing out at everyone because she can't lash out at Jionni since he won't stop running away from her. She's been waiting for this visit for weeks, and in a matter of hours, it's ruined. I think she knows exactly what went wrong, and maybe she feels guilty for it, but she can't express that right now. All she can do is cry, scream, sob, and teeter down the cobblestone streets and hit taxis with her purse. She even yells at Jenni, who is stepping up big time and searching for Jionni with Snooks and Ronnie. Ron actually catches up to Jionni, who basically says he's done and he's ok with it.
I honestly thought Jenni handled Snooki the best way she could. It has to be frustrating dealing with someone who is so intoxicated. Sammi and Deena finally get Snooki into a cab to go home. Jionni is hanging out by some random fountain, presumably thinking, "My passport is at my now-ex-girlfriend's house." He comes to the house and walks right by Snooki, which infuriates her. They have a somewhat brief exchange consisting of her asking him why he's doing this to her and him recounting her less than lady-like acts at da club. Snooki denies the whole thing, even though Jionni was right there and saw her flash everyone her undies. But let's be fair, at least she was wearing undies.
Jionni tells Snooki they're done and to leave him alone. She goes to bed, crying. This is so sad. Unlike Sam and Ron's fights, I actually feel sympathetic towards these two. Again, let me explain. Jionni seems like a pretty nice guy, until he's made to feel embarrassed or exposed in any way. He projects that onto Snooki and constantly berates her for embarrassing him. I have no doubt that they love each other, but they may not be compatible, at least not right now. He needs to get over his insecurities and quit worrying about what other people think if he's going to be with Nicole/Snooki. If he can't, then he's with the wrong girl(s).
One of the best scenes is when Jionni and Snooki are fighting and Sammi finally gets how uncomfortable it is to have a fighting couple in the house, and apologizes. Lightbulb moment!
While Nicole is in bed crying, Jionni gets his bag and leaves. Snooki runs after him but she's too late, the taxi is long gone. Next week, we'll see the aftermath of the Snooki/Jionni breakup, including Mike's latest attempt at professing his love (?) for Snooks.
