Basketball Wives was a simmering pot of tension this week, not that anyone is surprised by this. Some friendships are over for good while others are getting stronger.
Let's get into this episode!
Tami: I am so sorry about all the terrible events you've endured in your life. It's so sad to see you almost relive those painful memories when you talk about the past with the counselor. Just the fact that you've overcome so much is an inspiration to me. You're such a strong lady, and telling your story, like you've always done (since Real World), has helped so many people. I do have to point out that it was maybe not the best thing to criticize Kenya's clothes and hair - just because you caught so much flack for your look on your first season. However, you were right to be upset about her behavior at the meeting with your panel of showbiz experts. Wow. You were willing to give her an opportunity and she really did nothing with it. I don't blame you for not being impressed with her. The good thing about you is that you give people a chance and then you go from there. She blew it with you big time! I can't wait to see what the issue is between you and Kesha, by the way. Tami's grade for the week: A.
Evelyn: I really hope your brother in law is ok. This week you were cool and I definitely enjoyed that. Keep it up. I loved you reading Kenya for her weave ("it's leanin'"). LOL! Evelyn's grade for the week: B.
Kenya: I was so annoyed with you this week. Damn. As if being unprofessional wasn't enough, you were totally clueless as to how your comments came across to Kesha. Yes, she decided not to work with you. That was her decision to make. She still showed up to your audition because she wanted to. And then you don't even seem to appreciate it! Speaking of not appreciating things, you were a total disaster at the meeting with Tami. You were late, unprepared, and totally wasted everyone's time. That's three strikes, honey. You do get points for coming to Royce's event and trying to keep a lid on Suzie. Kenya's grade for the week: D.
Kesha: I am starting to like you more and more because you're actually down to earth and seem to be a genuine person. You did exaggerate Kenya's words just a tad in front of Shaunie, Evelyn, and Tami. But you were upset and you were telling the story the way you remembered it. So I can see why you added some spice to it, no big deal. And your choice to totally ignore Suzie at the charity event was smart. Distance yourself from that!! Kesha's grade for the week: A.
Royce: I love that you were honored by this great charity (PreserveOurLegacy.org). It's just a testament to how you want to use your platform for positive things, unlike some of your castmates. I thought it was nice of you to go to Kenya's audition, even though she really didn't appreciate it in the end. I say there's no need to try to be friends with her anymore. You have better things to do. Royce's grade for the week: A.
Suzie: Wow. You show up to a charity event, get drunk, complain that it's "boring", and then try to act all nicey nice with Royce when she got off the stage. She could hear you! Do you not understand how crazy you're acting?! Ugh. Sit down. Suzie's grade for the week: F.
