Worst Reunion Show EVER

I was so disappointed with Part 2 of the Basketball Wives reunion. It was all about Kesha vs. Tami and Evelyn vs. Jennifer AGAIN. Instead of really focusing on the other conflicts/storylines, they merely mentioned them and promptly circled back to old territory that was already covered in Part 1. I am really disappointed in Shaunie for allowing this. It was like a huge commercial begging the audience to watch Season 5. Which brings me to Shaunie's terrible acting at the end of the show, pretending there was any doubt that the show would be back next season. She tried to turn it into this suspenseful moment, when in reality, we all KNEW there would be a Season 5. That's all she's been saying since Season 4 started airing - that NEXT season would be better! Ugh. I am so over this show. I can't believe Basketball Wives' producers thought that this waste of time show would pass as a reunion. I won't even grade the ladies because I believe there was a lot we didn't see. So, I'll just list the things that were WRONG with this reunion:

1. Where does Tami and Royce's friendship stand? That was a MAJOR plot point and we NEED a resolution on that. The fact that Royce is rumored to be fired from the show is irrelevant. I want to know what really went on behind the scenes and whether or not they were able to repair their friendship. (I do want to thank VH1 for showing Royce in the play. She did great from the clips we saw. Congrats, Royce, and if you're not on the show anymore, consider yourself lucky. This is a sinking ship.)

2. John Salley is the worst host ever. We know what polygraph means, thank you very much. You snide, condescending jerk.

3. That stupid lie detector test fiasco was SO unnecessary. I'm all for hugging it out, but the whole thing just looked so awkward and staged. I'm not saying Evelyn and Jennifer weren't genuine - they both looked sincere about what they were feeling, and the hug looked real - but the setup was way too 90's daytime talk show for me. Oy vey.

4. Tami essentially taking back her apology to Kesha. Ugh!!! Tami! It was great when you apologized in Part 1 and then you had to ruin it by giving us some cockamamie explanation for why you were a bully to Kesha in Tahiti. And yes, you WERE a bully. You intimidated her, you called her names, and you threatened her. I don't know what else you would call that. And besides that, the whole purse thing was wrong, wrong, wrong. How you could even sit there and defend that is beyond me. I'm pretty much over you. I really liked you - I was Team Tami. But I can't be on someone's team that still can't admit when they were wrong. You apologized and it was all good, but when it came right down to it, you really only apologized for your "delivery". But you have so much more to take responsibility for! And then, you go back to being defensive! It doesn't make any sense. I'm really disappointed that you didn't own up to everything that happened in Tahiti. If you had, you would have been the comeback kid. This sucks.

5. VH1 really messed up with the format of the show. I wish they would take some lessons from Bravo and Andy Cohen and go DEEP into MOST of the plot points. Not beat a dead horse with some subjects, and gloss over others. At least SOME of the questions need to come from the viewers. We didn't get the kinds of answers we needed at all. It seemed like it was all shaped and molded to fit what the producers want - which is to get us to watch next season. And they need to give everyone equal time. If some cast members aren't going to speak, why have them there???

6. Which brings me to Suzie. You said a total of 2 sentences (I'm guessing) in Part 2. Why were you there? And then you had to lie on top of it all? The one time you speak, you use your time on the show to lie? In the Tahiti episodes, it's CLEAR that you were the one that told Tami what Kesha said because Tami CLEARLY says, 'Don't feel bad for telling me, Suzie' (paraphrasing). I mean, what is your deal? At least you have braces now, which is the only improvement I see in you. Because, frankly, you need to be worrying about the status of your inner beauty, not your appearance.

I'm really disgusted by this show, and I don't think I'll watch next season. It's sad, but true. And to be honest, I probably won't watch Evelyn's spinoff either. I'm feeling like this whole franchise is going downhill fast. I mean, if this season brought boycotts, I'm sure next season will, too. And if Shaunie keeps her promises about no physical altercations, some of the audience who enjoys that type of reality tv won't tune in. Either way, a big portion of the audience will go elsewhere. I, personally, don't think the show is being led in the right direction. And I certainly won't be watching the LA installment. So there you have it. Agree? Disagree? Tweet me!

Waste of Time

Part 1 of the Basketball Wives Reunion was very disappointing, although there were some good moments. Overall, though, it was a big waste of time. Seriously, I was able to get through the entire thing in less than 30 minutes without the commercials, the recap clips, and the stuff I've already seen on VH1.com. There really wasn't anything new or exciting in this part of the reunion, and unfortunately, it looks like Part 2 is going to be a dud as well. The preview didn't really do anything for me. And! Let's just state facts: Only Shaunie, Tami, Evelyn, and Jennifer said more than a few sentences the whole show! This is not the kind of reunion we need! And please get John Salley out of the host's chair. He's not funny and he's not at all charming. I can't stand the way he asks the questions - almost as if he's above the show. (If you're not into the show or don't enjoy it, then don't host the damn reunion!!!) They need to get a real host in there, maybe a female (preferable a comedienne) who can at least relate to each of the ladies. You know what I suggested to Shaunie in my last blog - she shouldn't be on the show anymore and just take over hosting the reunions. But that's just me. And the way they edited the show was really choppy in parts. No bueno, VH1.

So let's address the ladies (the ones who actually spoke):

Kesha: I'm going to commend you on standing your ground about your problems with Tami. I wish we could have heard you speak more. Maybe in Part 2? Kesha's grade for the week: A (based on the little bit that she was allowed to say).

Kenya: I still don't like you. I did appreciate when you said that anyone can achieve their dream no matter how old they are. However, I'm still not convinced you're being real with us (the audience). There is something very artificial about you, and it makes everything you say sound fake. Kenya's grade for the week: C (because she's still acting).

Royce: You barely spoke!!! Please, tell me you let loose on Part 2!!! Royce's grade for the week: N/A (Stupid John Salley just kept telling her not to cry!!! Lame joke, John!!!)

Shaunie: I think your speech about doing better next season was very nice. But that's all it was. You made it sound like things got out of control this season, like the first three seasons of the show weren't at all violent. They were! I'm happy you want to make a change to the show now, but in reality, this change should have come after season 2 when Tami and Evelyn got physical. But, I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and believe you when you say you're committed to making this a more positive show. All I ask is that you not be a cast member anymore. That's the last time I'm going to say it. Shaunie's grade for the week: C (because time will tell if her promises are kept or not).

Tami: I really appreciated you apologizing for the way you treated Kesha and for promoting therapy and anger management. I think most people have anger problems and unresolved issues that they need professional help with - they may just not know what to do about them. So, you coming out and saying that therapy and anger management is working for you is a major thing. I truly wish you the best on your journey and I hope that we see the sweet, funny, kind Tami that we know and love next season. Show us you're over the fighting. Can't wait to see if you and Royce patch things up in Part 2. Also, kudos to you for telling Jennifer where to go. The way you spelled it out for her was perfect. Hopefully, she was listening to you. Tami's grade for the week: A (because she owned her mistakes and called it like she sees it).

Suzie: Thank you for not speaking. Suzie's grade for the week: N/A (as it should be).

Evelyn: We've now heard the reasons why you're upset with Jennifer for the 80th time. I think we get it by now. Please don't tell the story anymore. I don't even want you two to be friends after this is all over. I want you to get married and MOVE ON. Anyway, I liked that you got emotional and apologized for the bottle throwing incident. I love that you said it wasn't funny and that you regret doing that. This is what we want to see from you - remorse and recognition for the shady and inappropriate things you've done. And make sure you're not up to the same antics next season. The way you spoke to Jennifer was good, too. You were calm and didn't get out of line that I could see. The lie detector test was a bit much, though. Kind of bordering on ridiculous. Evelyn's grade for the week: B (for taking responsibility for her actions, but a lot of her segments were repetitive as hell. We'd heard all this before.)

Jennifer: Why you had to be sequestered and brought out by security like you're Jackie O is beyond me. You're ego needs a seat of its own in Part 2. You really don't do anything but make excuses for everything you said and did on this season. And you didn't address the fact that you continued to be on the show, so you must not have really feared for your life and/or safety. The questions you were asked were valid questions, but it seemed like you were annoyed to be asked anything. That's what a reunion is for! If you really didn't want to be there, you should have stayed home. Please, do not come back next season. This is no longer your show. Jennifer's grade for the week: D (for acting like she was annoyed by the questions and like she didn't want to be there).

It's Finally Over ... Or Is It?

Well, it was a bitter end to this season of Basketball Wives, to say the least. The ladies laid their cards on the table, and it wasn't pretty. At all. I'm actually kind of sad about the way the season ended, especially between Tami and Royce. That was one friendship I really wanted to go the distance. And the whole Evelyn/Jennifer thing just needs to be over. We're all done with that. Shaunie expressed some concerns as to her role on the show and how it reflects on her - and I know we ALL have something to say about that. So let's get started.

Royce: I read your blog, and I truly hope you said all of this at the reunion. I'm sad that Tami decided to end your friendship with her over this. I personally don't think you were chastising her at all. You were simply pointing out that you didn't agree with her behavior. I also didn't see you putting Kesha on a pedestal, you were trying to be fair and impartial in a situation where two of your friends could not get along. You did the best you could. As for your situation with Shaunie that you referenced in the blog, that's really unfortunate. But I'll adress Shaunie later. I really like you, Royce, and I think you've been through a lot this season (not to mention since the season aired), but I think your time on this show is done. You really need to have a show about your dance company, writing, acting, and maybe a little bit of your personal life (not too much). This show just doesn't fit you anymore. You're in a different place and I don't think it's mutually beneficial for you to be on Basketball Wives anymore. I hate that it's come to this, but you'll most definitely land on your feet. Royce's grade for the week: A (because I saw her make the effort to be a good friend, but it just didn't work out).

Kenya: I'm glad you have a friend in Jennifer, because at this point, you're all each other has anymore in the way of friends on this show. I don't know if I want to see you back for another season. If you could be more than Jennifer's wingwoman, maybe. However, it would take a lot for me to really be invested in you on this show. I'm still on the fence about you. I like that you're feisty, but I don't like that you're a bit of an actress and at times, your actions come across as rehearsed. Kenya's grade for the week: C (because she's just ok, not great, and not one of those you can love to hate, either).

Suzie: You played your role as spy, mole, and all-around brown-noser to a T. I give you credit for finding your niche and working it. That's all I have to say about it. Oh, and you would never, ever be a friend of mine. Suzie's grade for the week: F (because she'd actually have to have a personality of her own for me to care).

Tami: I know you said on Twitter that you weren't going to "entertain BS" and that's why you wouldn't comment on Royce's blog this week, you would rather "agree to disagree". You also tweeted that if someone's not helping you, they're hurting you and as such, you'll remove them from your life (paraphrased). Now, while I agree with removing people from your life that aren't good for you, I have to admit that all of this makes me sad. The whole scene where you told the circle that you're done with Royce was very, very sad. I know you don't like people talking about you behind your back. But (reality time), you talked about Kesha and Jennifer and Kenya (and probably others I can't remember right now) behind their backs. I really don't see the difference in Royce talking to Kesha about you or your problems with her. Unfortunately, women talk with each other about each other. That's just the way it is. Not that all of it is negative, but it happens. I truly don't think Royce had bad intentions in all of this and I hope you're able to work things out with her. I do think you should be on the show next season and NOT fight. Not even once. I want to see you go a whole season without fighting. It can be done! Show us the progress you're making! Show us the projects you're working on! Show us the fun Tami that we love! I like you a lot - if you couldn't tell - and I just want people to see that you're not just about fighting all the time. Tami's grade for the week: D (because I think she can turn it around with Royce, she just has to want to save that friendship, and I'm not sure that she does. And that's a shame).

Jennifer: Can I just say how ridiculous that outfit was when you finally came out of your room to talk to Evelyn on the beach? Oh my God. The hat, the glasses, the cover up that didn't cover your hoo-ha, the shiny bikini underneath - all of it. My eyes were assaulted. But enough about the look. The conversation was much worse. Actually, I'm glad it was just a conversation and not another fight. The truth is, whatever you said cut Evelyn so deep and drove her so crazy that she was then willing to air your dirty laundry in front of the cameras. Very dirty laundry. Which I didn't ever need to know about. But, I have to say, you handled it well, because there was no brawl. The conversation ended and you left Tahiti. That's what should have happened. I'm not saying I think you're right. I actually think you're wrong to keep talking about Evelyn and her relationship after she asked you not to. I think you're wrong to go tit for tat with Evelyn and Nia on Twitter. I think if you're so above it all, you shouldn't be talking about any of that stuff. Ever. You should be on to the next topic - whether that's your personal stuff, your business ventures, or future plans. Talk about that stuff. Which leads me to ... you don't need to be on this show anymore either. And it's not because you're out of the circle. It's because you bring nothing to the show except your problems with Evelyn. And now that that's done, you have no real reason to be a part of the cast anymore. Focus on your other projects, and in your words, keep it moving. Jennifer's grade for the week: C (because she didn't make things worse, but she didn't make them better, either).

Evelyn: I can totally understand why you were mad at Jennifer and wanted to clear the air, but to blurt out her business like that on the beach was uncalled for. It really didn't help your case. In any event, you said what you needed to say, and it's over. Hallelujah!!! Now, can we never talk about this again? (After the reunion, of course, I mean.) Seriously, next season, I don't want to hear Jennifer's name come out of your mouth. That ship has sailed. I want to hear about your wedding. That's pretty much it. So, bring that next season, because you need to stay on this show for now. Just make sure you keep your hands to yourself. It's a new day. Evelyn's grade for the week: D (because she didn't need to say ALL of that!)

Shaunie: Here's the deal. You've fought (verbally) on the show before (Gloria, anyone?), so I really don't buy that you're so ashamed of the fighting on the show NOW. You should have been ashamed for a while now. And the fact that you are a producer and a cast member is obviously causing problems. There's no way you can't be thinking about how certain events will play out while you're trying to be a part of a scene with your cast mates. It's just ... a conflict of interest. Now, I could see you doing an Andy Cohen, and being the host of the reunions. That I would totally be ok with. But it does seem odd that you want to be on the show (although your role was diminished over the last two seasons), and still be a part of the creative force that molds the show into what we see every week. I think you need to pick a side: in front of the camera or behind the camera. Not both. I don't think you're a bad person at all, but this show needs an overhaul and it has to start with you. Shaunie's grade for the week: F (because I can't take this whole act about how upset she is about how the show is turning out).

I can't wait till the reunion!!!!! Let me know what you think about the show. Tweet me!

Lawyered Up

It's taken me this long to blog about this week's Basketball Wives because, frankly, I'm kind of sick of all of them. With the exception of Royce and Kesha, who weren't on the episode this week. I mean, it's a little frustrating for these ladies to be in such a beautiful location and focus on nothing but drama. I did appreciate the jet skiing scene, just because it was fun and devoid of any arguing. For once. I will say, I can look at the Tahitian scenery all day. Just show me where to download some wallpapers for my laptop and I'll be a happy girl. But, let's talk about the foolishness because that's what we're here to do.

Jennifer: First of all, I truly respect your resolve and determination to not fight with Evelyn anymore. I don't know what your motives are, but you're sticking to your guns and not engaging with her in any way. Which means you aren't fighting (which is good), and the bonus is, you're making Evelyn furious in the process. So, technically, you're winning at this point. I think you're right to say that there's nothing else to discuss because every conversation ends in a fight with you two, but clearly Evelyn isn't done for some reason. So you may want to cool it with the lawyer/attorney talk. It's just going to get back to Evelyn (you ARE talking to Suzie, after all) and keep the whole mess going. So, my advice is to be quiet and stop talking about your legal team. You've decided to go a certain route with this, and that's your decision, but talking to Suzie isn't helping your cause at all. I thought it was rude of you to not tell the girls you had arrived. Seriously, if you didn't want to be there, or if you didn't want to be with the group at all, then why waste your time going? There is no reason you couldn't have taken a different trip with your other friends and called it a day. Unless, you were contractually obligated to be there, in which case, the fact that you didn't say anything to the girls could have been your way of showing them that you didn't want to be there. Which is just childish. And yes, your voice is annoying and you do have a superiority complex. I have not forgotten all of that. Jennifer's grade for the week: C (because I applaud her for not getting into fights, but her ego is getting out of control).

Kenya: I don't think you're crazy. I think you're a terrible actress. You needed to pull a stunt because you got yourself into a mess with Evelyn. And you were in Tahiti, so you knew you were going to see her. So you played the "I'm crazy, don't mess with me" card (that we all remember Will Smith teaching little Ashley on Fresh Prince of Bel Air) to get Evelyn to leave you alone. Not that it's a bad plan. It's actually very smart. It was the execution that was all wrong. Let's just leave it at ... Overactors Anonymous is waiting for your call. I love how you're the new Suzie. Just chopping it up with everyone and anyone that'll have you. But hey, it beats getting a bottle thrown at your head. For the record, I don't think the fish was ever in Kenya's room. I think they're just saying it was, because like I said last week, they went to a totally different bungalow. I'm standing by that. The producers are using it for laughs, but it's just coming across as mean and unnecessary. Kenya's grade for the week: D (for the overacting).

Suzie: You know what's coming. You have a major case of diarrhea of the mouth. Whoever comes by, bleh! You just vomit out every detail from your last interaction with a human being. I think you should be studied. I'm fascinated by what compels a person to constantly spill every word of a previous conversation to each person they encounter. I'm gonna chalk it up to immaturity and no real social skills. This is your bag, baby. But that doesn't mean you can't learn how to keep things to yourself at some point. Suzie's grade for the week: F (because she's the mouthpiece and that does nothing for me).

Tami: You had some funny lines and faces this week, which you know I appreciated. Especially the looks you were giving Kenya when she first came to the table and throughout her whole "I'm crazy" scene. I could watch that forever just for your reactions to her. Also, on the boat, you actually said you would hash things out with Kesha and that made me happy. I think you realized your attack on her was not ok, and maybe that realization was short-lived, but at least you thought about it. So, I give you credit for that. I also respected the fact that you got in between Evelyn and Jen again. You don't want them to fight physically, but I'm pretty sure you're ok with them going at it verbally. I mean, you always say you like to be nosy and hear all the juicy details. I love that you're honest about that! I'm glad you're back on Twitter, by the way. All I need from you now is a sincere apology at the reunion. Tami's grade for the week: C (for starting to go back to being fun and funny, just like I like her).

Shaunie: I understood why you were miffed at Jen for not saying anything to you when she got to the island. You're not the one she's mad at. So, there's no reason for her to avoid you. Especially when you invited her. We're on the same page on that one. I have to ask, though, did Kenya hear you say "she scares me" when she was doing her best mean mug at the table? Because that was hilarious. I loved that you girls had fun jet skiing, that to me was a great scene of everyone just having a good time on vacation. I want to see more of that. Other than that, you let Jen know how you feel and there was really nothing else to say. I'm glad you didn't instigate anything, either. Evelyn came to the table on her own. Shaunie's grade for the week: B (because I could see where her frustration with Jen was coming from).

Evelyn: You never learn. But at least you apologized. Sort of. At first it wasn't an apology (to Kenya) but after a little while I could see you really were sorry for throwing a wine bottle at her. Now, when it comes to Jen, you're still not thinking clearly. The whole problem is - you took offense to what Jen said about you and Chad in public interviews and the fact that she continued to say things after you told her not to. I understand that. But once you've had two, three, four bad conversations that don't resolve anything, it is time to let it die. Jen has been clear since the meeting at the restaurant in the beginning of the season that the friendship is done. You are the one still coming at her. So, you must want the friendship to survive somehow. Well, it's not. Not the way you're going about it. You want Jen to admit to certain things and it's never going to happen. Therefore, let this go. Focus on you, your wedding, and your future. Stop trying to talk to her. It's over. And you shouldn't even care at this point! You have nothing but bad things to say about her anyway. Evelyn's grade for the week: D (because she isn't letting this bullsh*t go and it's annoying already).

It Didn't Have to Be This Way

I don't even have the appropriate words to describe how disgusted I was as I watched the latest episode of Basketball Wives. The level of plain wrongness was off the charts. And I hate to say that now I can see why some people were calling for a boycott. I'm not saying it's working, or that I'll stop watching. I'm just saying I can now understand why people would boycott this show. However, I do think that this episode could be a turning point for some, a mirror, you might say. Because, when we watch these shows, we automatically (and sometimes subconsciously) relate it to our own life and our own experiences. So, if just one person sees themselves in some of the behavior on the show and realizes that they need to make a change, maybe it's all worth it. But let's quit with the philosophizing (Zoolander reference) and talk about the episode.

On a side note - Tahiti is gorgeous and I want to go to there (30 Rock reference) immediately.

Tami: I feel the need to explain that the reason why I may have found your outbursts funny in the past is because my mom is very similar to you. I've seen the same facial expressions, I've heard the same tone of voice, and I've been on the receiving end of the same type of rants. There are definite similarities that I clearly relate to. The way you go off on people is nothing new for me. Unfortunately, I wasn't laughing this time around. You're still working on your anger management issues, and I think we can all agree that you have a long way to go (at least at the point when this episode was taped). This week, it wasn't just a verbal altercation with Kesha. That was a full on attack. And the sad thing is, she wasn't a threat to you at all. You just kept coming for her and coming for her and coming for her long after she had surrendered. I have to say that the alcohol was the catalyst for this terrible incident. The minute you all took shots, your whole demeanor changed, and it was like something inside you snapped. That's when it got scary. I know you already know this - and you've apologized on your Twitter account, which you've since deleted - but you were wrong. Taking Kesha's purse was totally wrong. She walked away to put distance between you, she wasn't leaving her purse there to be stolen by you or anyone else. And the fact that you went through her purse and her phone was just ridiculous. The way you spoke to her in her room was out of line, as well. It was a shame and a total disaster on your part. I hope that you will make some formal statement (maybe at the reunion?) so that you can repair some of this. There's no excuse for how you treated Kesha, not even the fact that she may have annoyed you. I'm glad you and Kesha are on better terms following your recent health problems. That's a start. I truly don't think you're the person we saw this week. Make a statement and let the public know what you're doing to make sure this never happens again. Tami's grade for the week: F (because there was no excuse for any of that).

Kesha: We're still getting to know you, and one thing we know is that you do not like confrontation. That's why you shut down and did not engage with Tami at all after she got so heated with you. I could almost pinpoint the moment where you decided to just give up. In a way, I wanted you to fight back, but then again, I can understand why you didn't. You know Tami has gotten physical with people in the past. You know that she was intoxicated. You know that she just doesn't like you. So, in all fairness, I'm pretty sure most of us would have done the same thing. Your major mistake was leaving your purse in your chair. Your other big mistake was saying anything personal to Suzie. She is not your friend. Run, don't walk. Seriously, you showed a lot of restraint, and even though some may say you were wrong to report your bag stolen, it's your bag, you can do whatever you want. And let's be real, you told the receptionist that someone had your things and you wanted them back. You didn't call the American Embassy or anything. I hate that you left the trip early, but there was nothing to stay for. I am glad you and Tami are ok now, like I said before, though. Hopefully her health scare was a turning point and the channel through which your friendship with her can finally blossom. You are strong in your own way, not with fists or yelling, but through quiet defiance, which is what we saw. You didn't give in to Tami, except to ask for your bag back like she wanted you to, which you did. Kesha's grade for the week: B (because you did the best you could in the situation, but you definitely could have stood up for yourself more).

Suzie: I can't even explain how mad I am at you. First of all, that whole situation could have been avoided if you would have kept your mouth shut. What Kesha said wasn't that serious. It wasn't even really a dig at Tami, when you really think about it. Kesha was just pointing out why she didn't engage in an argument with Tami. That's not your cue to go tell Tami every single thing Kesha said. And I have to question your motives. Do you really think it was that necessary to put that bug in Tami's ear when you know how much she can't stand Kesha? What were you trying to accomplish? Some things do not need to be said. Especially if it's not even that big of a deal. What did you think Tami was going to do with that information? I just think you're willing to kiss anyone's ass at this point. You wanted to be ok with Tami so you feed her whatever scraps of information you could find instead of leaving the bullsh*t at the door. And the stunt you pulled with Evelyn and Shaunie was wrong. It's so much more than a prank. Don't even try to play the prank card. Also, the room number that Tami got the room key for (425) did NOT match the room you all actually went to when you first went to scope out the place (408 or 409, I couldn't tell). Hmmmm!!!! I have no respect for you - and you're not a true friend to any of the women on the show. You're out for yourself, whether it befor camera time or just to get back in the circle. Good luck with that. Suzie's grade for the week: F (because she's running around causing unnecessary problems and that irks me).

Evelyn: I could tell you weren't 100% on board with what Tami was doing and saying, but you did nothing to stop it. Maybe you didn't want to be Tami's next target? I was glad to see you empathize with Kesha ... until I saw you participate in the "prank" in Kenya's room. That was low. And not funny. It's not a prank when all of you don't like the girl and there's nothing funny about it. You all were enjoying it a little bit too much, I'm just saying. And like I said before, it wasn't even the same room that Tami got the key for. So what was that about? I'm just really tired of you showing us you have a heart (crying with Kesha), just to turn around and be mean for no reason again. Which is it? Because at this point, it's so childish and obnoxious, it's not even funny. Evelyn's grade for the week: D (for being compassionate with Kesha but then immediately ruining it by being a mean girl).

Shaunie: The reason why people are so upset with you is because you went along with all the foolishness on this episode. You didn't stop the Tami tirade or the purse snatching, and you didn't put the kibash on the fish prank. You were wrong to stand there and laugh while they shoved dead fish all over the room. That was not a prank by any means. And you were wrong to not escort Tami somewhere and sober her up and talk some sense into her before she totally demolished Kesha. I know these are all grown women and you're not their mother, but please. For the sake of your own show, reign them in a little bit here and there. You may think it's good tv at the time, but as we've all seen, it's not good for your show in the long run. You've made statements that your voice is finally being heard and that next season it'll be a more positive show, but that's what you said about this season. Stuff like this has no place on the show and you definitely don't need to be in the mix laughing about it as it happens. You knew Tami was wrong and I'm pretty sure you knew Evelyn and Suzie were wrong. Don't let these girls do this to your show. The show is already suffering, as are your cast members. Tami's deleted her Twitter account and Royce did the same last week (it's back up now). When are you going to step in and bring some order to the court? And tell us what's really going on with that whole room number mix up? Was that planned to go into Jenn's room instead of Kenya's??? Shaunie's grade for the week: D (for not stopping the madness when she most certainly could have).

Jennifer and Kenya - I'll deal with you ladies next week.

After the Slap

Basketball Wives picked up back at the racetrack, right after the infamous slap in the face (from Nia to Jennifer). Again, this is NOT a recap. If you're looking for a recap, click here. This is an OPINION-based blog, meaning, I will give my opinions about each of the ladies based on this episode and also take into consideration the rest of the current season. These are MY opinions, and I stand by them.

Shaunie: You should have been a lot harder on Nia for getting physical with Jennifer. Use your authority, lady! Shaunie's grade for the week: D (because I think she could have made it clear that Nia was wrong).

Tami: You cracked me up this week. I know you got physical with people in the past, but you have a way of re-enacting these fights that just tickles me. And I thought it was funny that you said you needed to hang with Kesha to make sure you're not in the line of fire next time. Tami's grade for the week: A (because, you guessed it, she made me laugh!).

Evelyn: Well, last week, we saw you get overcome with emotion because Jennifer put Nia down for not having enough money. And people read you for talking smack about Royce's clothes back in the day. I'm thinking maybe you realized how wrong that was? Or maybe it was just an excuse to be mad because you needed one so you could be in on the fight. I will say, it is wrong to put people down for not having what you have, so if you're sincere, I think that's a noble stance to take. But, jumping over the table was definitely a bad move, Moving on, your birthday was hilarious. The dress code was apparently high-end hooker-chic, complete with stripper pole. And the car. That's a sweet birthday gift, I must say. Evelyn's grade for the week: D (I can't quite tell if she's sincere or just needed one more reason to be upset at Jennifer).

Jennifer: I can't say I blame you for pressing charges, and truthfully, it's not a surprise, because you served the ladies with papers saying that you would do that if they got physical with you. So, really, you're just following through on your threat/promise. I don't feel sorry for you because you sat there and told this angry woman "I wish you would", and she did. And you just sat there. Did you think security was going to stop her? Also, just FYI, they keep bringing up your new friends because they think that's why you've changed so much. Duh! Anyway, she hit you and you're pressing charges. Fine. Then, there was some contrived scene with you and Kenya taking a self defense class. That seemed so fake to me. Jennifer's grade for the week: D (because she should have stood up or at least walked away!)

Suzie: You behaved yourself this week!! Proud of you, gurl! Suzie's grade for the week: A (because I want her to keep it up).

Royce: I thought the commercial - I mean date night - at Dave & Buster's was a lot of fun. You do look extremely happy with Dezmon. I just can't stop thinking about the preview of next week of you fighting with your dad. What the hell is going on? Royce's grade for the week: A (for being so happy with her new man).

Kesha: You were brave to tell Evelyn to calm down. I just hope you're not the next one to suffer her wrath! Kesha's grade for the week: B (for speaking her mind, but don't get popped!).

Kenya: Your scenes with Jennifer were kind of boring because you're just agreeing with everything she says. I don't blame you for wanting to be on someone's good side. You need friends right now. And nice punches in the self defense class, by the way. Kenya's grade for the week: B (for playing the part of Jennifer's new BFF beautifully).

Stunts and Slaps

Basketball Wives is a true reality show, through and through. They give us drama in the beginning, laughs in the middle, and drama at the end. They definitely follow a formula, and it works. This week, of course, was the slap of all slaps, courtesy of Evelyn's friend and assistant (I still don't quite understand that dynamic). It was epic. I'm still wondering how Jenn's face didn't have a hand print on it - unless I just didn't see it. You tell me.

Jenn: For a while there, you had me fooled. I was thinking Royce was right - you're nicer when you're not around Evelyn. At least you had been for the last couple of episodes. Then you had to go and ruin it by being mean and rude to Nia, and then you got smacked for it. Basically, it comes down to you thinking you're better than a certain percentage of the population. Why? Because you dress in designer clothes and shoes? Because you live in a certain kind of place? None of that actually makes you better than anyone else. And asking someone what they're doing at an event (in the tone you used), doesn't help. Saying that you won't sue them because they don't have anything doesn't help, either. I think Nia's right. We all saw the real Jenn. And we are not impressed. Jenn: F (for showing that you're not bougie, you're an elitist b*tch).

Tami: You made me laugh again this week, first, on the boardwalk with Shaunie, and then at the races when you jumped in to save Jenn from Nia and Evelyn. You are always right there! On a more serious note, I absolutely loved the scene with your mom. It's great when these reality shows actually show growth and communication and understanding. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, it's beautiful. Especially between mothers and daughters, which can be a really difficult relationship to navigate. I hope you and your mom are still close, because you're both beautiful women - inside and out. I know we all think it's funny when you tell someone off or confront someone, because it is, but it's also good to know that you are vulnerable in a lot of ways, and that you're working on becoming a better person. I appreciate you showing that to the world. Tami's grade for the week: A (yes, for making me laugh, but also for being real).

Suzie: I'm glad you saw yourself in the movie "Think Like a Man" this week. I would say that I hope you learned something from it, but I have a feeling that's not really your deal. I'm thinking you'd much rather keep making yourself look like a dumb ho. Have fun with that! Suzie's grade for the week: C (because I'm just over her in so many ways).

Royce: I like you, I think you're smart and talented and great. But why? Why? Why did we have to see you in a totally rehearsed, totally fake date night with the robe and the lingerie ... ugh. Why??? It was all so contrived, girl! You're better than stunts like that! I thought your relationship was being portrayed just fine up until that point. You jumped the shark on that one. Consider this your Tamra and Eddie in the bathtub moment (Housewives of OC). Totally unnecessary. I still like you, though. Royce's grade for the week: D (for that unnecessary stunt).

Evelyn (and Nia): You two were the dynamic duo this week, in more ways then one. At one point I thought I was watching a WWE event. Nia smacks Jenn first, now here comes her partner, Evelyn, to finish the job! Come on now, it was all kinds of ridiculous. I'm not saying it wasn't entertaining, because it was (do I really have to have the whole entertainment value vs. real life factor conversation with you all again? No? Ok, thanks), but you girls are really getting out of control. All you had to do - Evelyn - was let Nia be the aggressor and show that you're not about fighting anymore. You escort Nia out, and you laugh about it on the way home. But no, you had to jump up on the table and do some flying eagle move trying to get to Jenn. I actually agree with you that Jenn was out of line to act superior to Nia, but you didn't have to react that way. Evelyn's grade for the week: F (for not taking the opportunity to sit back and be the bigger person).

One thing I didn't address yet was the blatant commercial smack dab in the middle of the show for "Think Like a Man". Come on, VH1, we've seen the previews and we'll watch the movie if we feel like it. Damn!

Apology Accepted

This week's Basketball Wives started off with the bottle throwing incident between Evelyn and Kenya. Just to reiterate, this is not a full-blown recap kind of blog. I'm going to comment on the parts of the show that stood out to ME, and if I don't mention certain things, it's just because they weren't that important to me or didn't shape my opinions one way or the other. So, with that said, let's begin.

Jenn: I have to say, you seemed to be sincere in your friendship with Kenya and with your apology to Royce. I know Evelyn is saying in her blog that you only met up and made up with Royce for camera time, but it didn't look that way to me. Maybe you're a better actress than you let on. Either way, you were cool on this episode, and you didn't ruffle my feathers, and I'm ok with that. Jenn's grade for the week: A.

Evelyn: You promised to "sting" Kenya every time you see her, so I'm guessing at the time, you felt no remorse for throwing a bottle and a plate at a nice restaurant, which is a little unsettling. I will give you credit for the entertainment value, like I did last week, because you are bringing it in that respect. But, I think we all agree that what you did was wrong. Even you said it was wrong in your blog. So, hopefully, you learned from it and won't act on your anger in the future. In a sense, I feel a little sorry for you that you have absolutely no control over your anger. I know I said it was funny last week (because it was), but that doesn't make it right. Evelyn's grade for the week: F.

Shaunie: I know you were trying to keep it together while the whole bottle-throwing incident went down, and you tried to reason with Evelyn about what she did, but laughing it off may not have been the best choice. Maybe that's why she keeps acting out? I think if you put your foot down about this type of behavior, it would stop. However, that may not be good for ratings. Shaunie's grade for the week: C.

Tami: I just have to say again, I love you. I'm glad you spoke to your mom about your anger issues and the terrible events that happened to you in the past. Your mom seemed to be crushed by the news but if we know anything about you and your mom, you're going to get through this together. Now, let's talk about Kenya. You were very upfront with her and honest about the video. There's always a little tension between you and her, I have to say. But I totally understand your frustration with her. I think it's for the best that you don't work with her anymore. I have to say that I think your friendship with Royce is worth saving, so please, please, please talk to her soon. Tami's grade for the week: A.

Royce: You were probably the least harsh with Kenya, so I give you major credit for that. You were also super honest with Jenn and ultimately accepted her apology, which I also appreciated. And, off the subject, your hair is looking amazing this season! I love the long straight look on you! Anyway, you're doing what you do best on the show - just being yourself. I think it's great, so keep it up. Royce's grade for the week: A.

Suzie: I think you're the happiest about the whole Kenya situation because she makes you look sane. I still think you talk too damn much, but right now, the target is on someone else. Enjoy it while it lasts, honey. I will say it was nice of you to get Jenn and Royce together, and it worked out nicely. Suzie's grade for the week: C.

Kenya: For the record, I don't think the video was terrible. Of course, we only saw snippets on the show, so we can't really say for sure. But, I can definitely see why some of the girls were not impressed. It did seem a little less than polished. So, good for you for getting it done, but I think you need to listen to constructive criticism more. When someone is speaking to you, you get this look on your face and it appears that nothing is getting through. Work on that. Also, work on remembering what you say from moment to moment because you seem to have a real problem with that. Kenya's grade for the week: D.

Next week, Nia, Evelyn's assistant/friend (what's with these reality stars hiring their friends?) pops Jenn in the face and Evelyn jumps over the table to get to her. Drama!!

Entertainment Value

Before I get into this week's Basketball Wives, I want to clear up a couple of things. I've been accused of taking it easy on Evelyn and Tami and I've been asked if I'm scared of them. First of all, I'm not scared because  let's face it, I'm one of the least offensive bloggers out there. I always give reasons for what I write and I stand by my opinions, good or bad. If someone brings something to my attention (and it's happened in the past), I'll consider it and update my blog if needed. As far as taking it easy on anyone, I'll admit that if I like someone or if they make me laugh, I might not be as harsh with them as I would with someone else whose personality I don't like. But usually, I'll say I give so-and-so a pass and include the reason why they get a pass with me.

More importantly, I have two different factors to consider. One, the entertainment value of each cast member, which is why we watch, isn't it? The other is, the real life factor, in other words, would this cast member's behavior fly with me in real life? How would I feel if someone were around me in real life behaving this way? I try to be as balanced as possible between entertainment value and the real life factor, but sometimes, one outweighs the other. But I would never alter my opinion just to get the acceptance of a reality star that I've never met and more than likely never will meet. It's great to get feedback from people on these shows, but I write the blog for me and for people like me who love these shows. And to be honest, the only person I've heard from on Basketball Wives is Kesha, just for the record.

Also, just for the record, check out my blog posts from last season. I was brutal with Evelyn, among others, so there's definitely no ass-kissing going on here. If she's not pissing me off this season, or maybe I just find her more likable this season, that's just what it is. I hope I've clarified my position, and please, let me know if you agree or disagree. I love feedback, especially passionate feedback. It makes me think about other points of view and it's always awesome conversation. So, comment below or tweet me!

Evelyn: I might as well start with you because you were the trouble-maker on this episode. Or at least the loudest one, because Kenya was definitely a trouble-maker as well. I have to pull out the entertainment value card here. You made me laugh with all your gestures and catchphrases and just plain madness. Here's why. You're of Puerto Rican descent. So am I. I know those gestures. I know that swagger. I grew up with that re-hot-fire-breathing rage that a Puerto Rican woman has inside her. Now, I know every culture has their version of it. But there's something distinct about a Puerto Rican and I can see it a mile away. And the truth is: it's funny. I'm sorry. When it's not directed at me, it's funny as hell. There. I said it. Of course it was all inappropriate and silly and wrong. Of course it was. But the entertainment value of it was through the roof. Now, the real life factor? Terrible. But you already know that. There was no reason to be so mad at the girl except the smug smirk on her face which was really annoying. Other than that, you should have told her to f*** off and called her crazy and kept it moving. You know people talk about you. So, why get so upset about it? She's, in your words, a non-mutha-f***ing factor. Evelyn's grade for the week: F (for fighting, even though it was funny).

Tami: You're up, my dear, and I still love you. I like when you sit back and observe what's going on like you did at the Gansevoort (poolside). I love that you made up with Suzie, and that you were hanging out with Royce on the episode. I think it's admirable that you're still helping Kenya after that disastrous meeting she had with your colleagues. You were great on this episode, really. And I'm not just saying that so you don't get mad at me. I read your blog, and you made some good points, but I wish you would make up with Royce. I don't think she meant any harm talking about the show and her perceptions of the show in her blog a few weeks back. I'd hate to see you two not be friends anymore. Tami's grade for the week: B.

Shaunie: I loved the segment about your daughter's birthday and her meeting her favorite band, Mindless Behavior. That was awesome. I hope we get to see more moments like this as the season progresses. I know you have to remain neutral and let the drama play out, but you got involved last time Evelyn acted out with Jennifer. I think you should have sat closer to her at the dinner in this week's episode and maybe it wouldn't have gotten so out of hand. You seem to be able to calm Evelyn down better than anyone. Shaunie's grade for the week: A.

Royce: The scene about your fitness DVD was awesome. I can't wait to see it! You have a great idea, and I hope it comes to fruition soon. I think you did a great job on this episode, especially going with Tami to meet Suzie and agreeing to go with Tami to the church with Kenya. I still think you're a good friend. I hope you and Tami can work out your differences. I loved your blog this week (just like every week), and I respect your opinion. We don't always agree on everything, but I think you have a great philosophy about the show and your role on it. Royce's grade for the week: A.

Suzie: I usually get on you for talking too much to too many people, but essentially that's your position on the show. I think it was cool of you to walk Kesha out when she left the Gansevoort, and of course you had to come back to hear what Kenya was going to say after she left. You fill everyone in on everything that happens, so I guess you do a good job in your assigned role. I thought your apology to Tami was sincere and she's right, you do need to think before you speak. Suzie's grade for the week: C.

Jennifer: You stuck up for Kenya because she's always normal and nice with you, and I thought it was cool of you to say so. Unfortunately, you haven't been in many group settings with the rest of the girls, so you're not privy to some of the craziness that's been going on. I also applaud you for not commenting on what Kenya said about Evelyn, because you could have jumped on the bandwagon and said something bad about her, but you didn't. I think that was a classy move. Jennifer's grade for the week: A.

Kenya: I can understand the difference between saying you "heard" something and actually saying it as your own personal opinion. However, I think you shot yourself in the foot and put the target on your own back by beating around the bush so much. At the Gansevoort, all you had to say was, "Yes, I commented on what I had heard about you at the time. I apologize, because it was wrong of me to talk about you when I didn't even know you." Done. That's all you had to say. Instead, you had to back-pedal, front-pedal, and side-pedal, all to end up at "I don't remember." You're a fool to pull that nonsense, and you know it. And you were giving serious smirk to Evelyn and I don't know whether it was out of fear or just oblivious cockiness, but that look on your face only made matters worse. Also, if you're willing to take off your shoes and act like you're going to fight someone, you better be ready to throw down when someone does the same to you. Not run away. Just saying. Kenya's grade for the week: F.

Kesha: I understand why you brought Sakara to the dinner as backup because you needed someone to corroborate your story. It did look a little bit like a set-up, but really, Kenya should have told the truth to begin with. I know you don't like confrontations, so I wonder what was going through your mind when Evelyn snapped? I'm just curious. Anyway, hopefully this whole chapter is done, although I doubt it. And can I just say, I love your house. You have a really beautiful home and the decor is so cool. I love it. Kesha's grade for the week: B.

I Do Not Recall

This week on Basketball Wives, the fall of Kenya has begun. I'm thinking this is gonna be a real quick decline, much like Meeka's last season. Kenya's not making any friends on this episode and her words are coming back to bite her (surprised? Me neither).

Tami: First, GET WELL SOON! I can't believe you had a mild heart attack this week. I'm sure your fans are keeping you in their thoughts. Now, as for this episode, you cracked me up when she was on the boardwalk with Evelyn talking about the clutch purse debacle. I love when you're joking and laughing. I appreciate you giving Kesha her chance to speak at the beach and actually asked her to stay when she got up to leave. I know you and Kesha still don't see eye to eye, but I think a lot of us would like that to change. I don't blame you for being upset with Kenya. I think everyone is fed up with her at this point. Tami's grade for the week: A.

Evelyn: There was no need to wait outside of Shaunie's birthday party for Jenn, so I'm glad you eventually went home. Again, my favorite scene was you and Tami re-enacting the clutch purse incident just because it was funny. You do make me laugh. I love that side of you. Your conversation with Kesha was actually productive, which really impressed me. When Kenya finally admitted to what she said about you, I thought you were gonna take YOUR shoes off, but you didn't. But hey, there's still next week. Speaking of next week, throwing wine bottles?! Really?! Evelyn's grade for this week: B.

Jenn: I had to laugh at the whole tennis scene. An athlete, you ain't, but at least you admit it. I see where you're coming from with the whole Evelyn thing. She shouldn't have hit you (with a purse or anything else). You make sense when you say you just want it to be over and done with and be in the same room without drama. Unfortunately, Evelyn just isn't that person. She pushes your buttons, and you push her buttons right back. I would make myself scarce around her until her rage dies down. You really know her better than anyone, so it should be no surprise to you that you've got a bullseye on your face (or back of the head, whatever). I don't think it's so bad that you have other friends. That's a non-issue. It's your attitude that's usually the problem. Jenn's grade for the week: C.

Royce: Your advice to Kesha was solid, you were so right. It really could have gone either way between Evelyn and Kesha. Your analogy about running around the circle like a track meet was hilarious and so on point. I loved your blog, as usual. Royce's grade for the week: A.

Suzie: You didn't totally irritate me this week, so I'm giving you a break. You behaved yourself at the tennis game and you actually know how to play! I still don't understand why you have to kiss certain people's ass all the time. But hey, that's just you. Suzie's grade for the week: C.

Kesha: I think you redeemed yourself with a lot of people when you called out Kenya for all the shiz she said about everyone throughout this season. I respect the fact that you walked away from a possible physical altercation with Kenya. I think a lot of people think they need to fight on reality shows to stay relevant, but that's not really true. I dare say it takes more guts to walk away with your dignity. And, on a personal note, I really hope you and Tami work out your differences soon. Kesha's grade for the week: A.

Kenya: Wow. I think you're confused as to what you're supposed to be doing on this show. You think you're supposed to be the new star of the show, but really, you're just supposed to support the main cast mates by showing up to their events. This is not your show. And now, the girls in the circle can't even stand the sight of you. You do talk a lot behind other people's backs, you do switch up your personality, and you do straight up lie. You did tell Kesha that you were cool with her after Tami and Evelyn left and I have no doubt that you called Evelyn loose and probably a lot worse. You sounded like a politician when you were claiming you don't remember what you said. You can get away with that once or twice, but now it's just ridiculous. You have to start taking responsibility for what you've said and done. Own it! None of this "I don't remember" bullsh*t! Just know your place from now on and sit down. Kenya's grade for the week: F.

You Ain't About This Life!

We all know they save the best of the drama for last on these reality shows, and Basketball Wives did just that this week. That birthday party was EVERYTHING!!! And I have a lot to say about all of the ladies so let's just jump right in.

Tami: Like I said last week, I appreciate your side of things. I know where you're coming from, but I do think you should speak to Kesha once you've both had a chance to cool down. You didn't start off on the right foot, but that's ok. You've made up with people before, and I definitely think you can do it again. According to your blog, Kesha has some pull with the producers and the viewers are getting a one-sided account of who she is and what she really is all about. Tell me more! I'm all ears! Back to this week, though. I loved your whole sit-back-and-enjoy demeanor at Shaunie's birthday party and you had a lot to behold that night. You didn't egg Evelyn on when she went off on Jenn, which I thought was smart. You stayed out of it for the most part. I was right there with you with Suzie, though. Of all the ignorant things to say. More on her later. But, you definitely let her know that was out of line without causing a huge scene. I say "Bravo" to you on that. Tami's grade for the week: A.

Suzie: Ignorant. Again. Do you ever think before you speak??? I just can't believe the sh*t you allow to come out of your mouth. You called Kesha's family rednecks, then said they were nice and that you were surprised they aren't racists, then you have to come at Tami with the food stamps line. Seriously??? Buy yourself a clue and get over yourself. You really have no right to talk about anyone's money, because as far as I can tell, you don't have a job. And you're not in broadcast journalism, which you pretended to get into last season. Suzie's grade for the week: F.

Kenya: Your speech was ... not good. I get that you wanted to thank Shaunie for putting you on this show, but you can't help but make an ass out of yourself, can you? Sit down and be quiet. We just can't with you anymore. Kenya's grade for the week: F.

Shaunie: Thank you for having a birthday party, because that was some of the best entertainment I've seen in a long time. I love you for not taking sides, for being a good friend to all the girls in one way or another, and for always being the mediator. I loved you trying to stop Evelyn from going off on Jen. "No! Nope, no she doesn't!" LOL! Shaunie's grade for the week: A.

Royce: You're also a good friend. You went to Tami with your concerns and while she wasn't as receptive as you hoped, you said what you needed to say. I hope you two can continue to be friends because your friendship is REAL, and we love that. You were lovely with Kesha's family, as well. Apparently you weren't invited to Shaunie's party, but I would have loved to get your reaction expressions when the situation between Evelyn and Jennifer popped off. Royce's grade for the week: A.

Kesha: If you are influencing the producers or somehow manipulating what we see, I'm really not ok with that. When you sign up for a reality show, you have to be 100% open, not just open about the parts that make you feel good. So, I really want to know if that's the case. And with Tami, she won't rest till the truth comes out. So you might as well accept it and move on. As for the episode, your family seemed amazing, and I love your mom. I liked the background information about you and the way you grew up. As a mixed girl, I can relate. Just be real with us about EVERYTHING, ok? Kesha's grade for the week: B.

Jennifer: I don't believe a word you say anymore. The whole "Oh my God, did I not invite you? I'm so sorry" bit is just pathetic. How do you not know if you invited someone? Whatever. Then, you take Evelyn's speech and turn it around so you can make a speech directly responding to what she said instead of just toasting to Shaunie and being done with it. Oy. What happened to keepin' it movin'? I don't care who you're friends with. You're full of yourself and you always have been. Maybe it's more apparent to your cast mates now because you're no longer blowing smoke up their asses. You have new friends for that. If I were you, I'd just be happy all you got was a purse smack to the back of the head. It could have been much worse. Jennifer's grade for the week: F.

Evelyn: While your speeches were funny as hell and your purse move was legendary, girl, you know you were out of line. But it was great tv. So I give you credit for that. You said you weren't going to drink that much at Evelyn's party, and then you promptly downed some shots. LOL! That was all kinds of messy. You said what you needed to say to Jenn, contacts and all, but I doubt you felt better at the end of the night. You won't feel better until you draw blood. Evelyn's grade for the week: C (I don't condone violence, but she gets credit for making me laugh.)

And More B*tch!

I can't believe I almost forgot to blog about Basketball Wives this week! It wasn't the most exciting episode, but there were some awesome moments, courtesy of, (who else?) Tami! We got some serious tension brewing between all of the girls, which makes for awesome tv.

Let's begin!

Kesha: You stuck your foot in your mouth like five different times this week. I don't think you're a back stabber  or anything like that, you're just not aware of how you're coming off to people. First, you tell Evelyn, of all people, how you're feeling about Tami. Mistake #1. Then, you beg the girls to behave at your charity event, then criticize them for not having fun. Mistake #2. Lastly, you didn't stand up to Tami and defend yourself well enough at dinner. Mistake #3. Seriously, I like you, but you should have just talked to Royce about how to get along with Tami. Royce is the only person on that cast that wouldn't have sold you out. Now, you're on the outs with Tami, but don't worry. She may come around. Kesha's grade for the week: C.

Evelyn: I don't even expect you to not talk about people behind their backs, that's who you are. But it was funny how quickly you turned against Kesha - that must have been a record! Like I said, I don't really expect anything more from you. Right now, you have Tami and Shaunie and you need them, so of course, you're not going to take the newcomer's side over Tami. I think it's great that you and Tami are cool again, and I can't wait to see you lunge for Jennifer every time you see her. Evelyn's grade for the week: D.

Jennifer: I did feel a little sorry for you when only Suzie and Kenya showed up to your launch party. And then I remembered, you're not a very good friend! So, you shouldn't have been surprised at all! I really can't blame the girls for not going. Plus, some weren't even invited. Let's be real. Jennifer's grade for the week: D.

Kenya: Your music video is finally done, so I hope we're done hearing about it. It was actually pretty decent. It was nice of you to show up for Jennifer. But I have a feeling you'd show up to a gas station if someone told you there was going to be a party there. Watching you crack up when Tami was blasting Kesha was hilarious, but absolutely mean. You just couldn't contain your joy that you weren't on the hot seat. Kenya's grade for the week: D.

Tami: I totally understand why you were upset with Kesha. You definitely could have settled it with her a different way, but hey, no one's perfect. I can't stand it when people have a problem with someone but tell everyone else but that person. It is infuriating. I can't help but laugh when you go after someone and hammer them into the ground (verbally), even though it wasn't very nice at all. Hopefully, you'll give Kesha another chance because she seems like a really good girl. Tami's grade for the week: C.

Royce: You weren't on very much this episode, hopefully we'll see more of you next week. Royce's grade for the week: N/A.

Strike One

Basketball Wives was a simmering pot of tension this week, not that anyone is surprised by this. Some friendships are over for good while others are getting stronger.

Let's get into this episode!

Tami: I am so sorry about all the terrible events you've endured in your life. It's so sad to see you almost relive those painful memories when you talk about the past with the counselor. Just the fact that you've overcome so much is an inspiration to me. You're such a strong lady, and telling your story, like you've always done (since Real World), has helped so many people. I do have to point out that it was maybe not the best thing to criticize Kenya's clothes and hair - just because you caught so much flack for your look on your first season. However, you were right to be upset about her behavior at the meeting with your panel of showbiz experts. Wow. You were willing to give her an opportunity and she really did nothing with it. I don't blame you for not being impressed with her. The good thing about you is that you give people a chance and then you go from there. She blew it with you big time! I can't wait to see what the issue is between you and Kesha, by the way. Tami's grade for the week: A.

Evelyn: I really hope your brother in law is ok. This week you were cool and I definitely enjoyed that. Keep it up. I loved you reading Kenya for her weave ("it's leanin'"). LOL! Evelyn's grade for the week: B.

Kenya: I was so annoyed with you this week. Damn. As if being unprofessional wasn't enough, you were totally clueless as to how your comments came across to Kesha. Yes, she decided not to work with you. That was her decision to make. She still showed up to your audition because she wanted to. And then you don't even seem to appreciate it! Speaking of not appreciating things, you were a total disaster at the meeting with Tami. You were late, unprepared, and totally wasted everyone's time. That's three strikes, honey. You do get points for coming to Royce's event and trying to keep a lid on Suzie. Kenya's grade for the week: D.

Kesha: I am starting to like you more and more because you're actually down to earth and seem to be a genuine person. You did exaggerate Kenya's words just a tad in front of Shaunie, Evelyn, and Tami. But you were upset and you were telling the story the way you remembered it. So I can see why you added some spice to it, no big deal. And your choice to totally ignore Suzie at the charity event was smart. Distance yourself from that!! Kesha's grade for the week: A.

Royce: I love that you were honored by this great charity (PreserveOurLegacy.org). It's just a testament to how you want to use your platform for positive things, unlike some of your castmates. I thought it was nice of you to go to Kenya's audition, even though she really didn't appreciate it in the end. I say there's no need to try to be friends with her anymore. You have better things to do. Royce's grade for the week: A.

Suzie: Wow. You show up to a charity event, get drunk, complain that it's "boring", and then try to act all nicey nice with Royce when she got off the stage. She could hear you! Do you not understand how crazy you're acting?! Ugh. Sit down. Suzie's grade for the week: F.

EXTRA

Basketball Wives is rolling right along in NYC (YAY!) and a little bit in Miami, as well. We see the aftermath of Jennifer vs. Evelyn, Royce's acting chops, Suzie talking mess, and some Chad/Evelyn relationship insights. I'm hoping for some more exciting episodes soon because all this talking is leading up to the fireworks we were promised in the previews.

Evelyn: I like you so much more this season. I'm not saying I agree with everything you say, but I like you a lot more. You have dropped the mean girl persona and your issues with Jennifer are under control for right now. I feel for you and your family and especially your brother in law. I've had to deal with cancer in my family, and it is truly a nightmare for all involved. I hope your brother in law is well and that he makes it to your wedding. Your conversation with Chad was an eye-opener for sure. You know this life and you know that there is a big possibility that cheating will occur. I commend you for opening up the dialogue and having Chad commit to being honest with you. I personally don't know if I could ever have that kind of conversation with someone, since you're basically saying he's going to have sex with other people and you want to protect yourself. That seems like such an uncomfortable conversation to have, but you were real about it. As long as you're happy, I'm happy for you. Your sit down with Suzie was hilarious. I've always enjoyed your sense of humor and sex is definitely not a taboo topic for you. I just hope there weren't any kids around. LOL. Evelyn's grade for the week: B.

Tami: I want to see a lot more from you, and I'm hoping in the next episode we get into you and Kesha not getting along (Bitch, Bitch, and MORE Bitch). I like when you mediate and help others get a long, but let's face it. You shine when you're telling someone like it is and letting them know where to go and how to get there. I love nice Tami, but I live for tough Tami. Just saying. Tami's grade for the week: A.

Shaunie: I caught a glimpse of you in the episode! Just kidding, your scene with Evelyn and Tami was cool. I do wish you were in the show more, though. Shaunie's grade for the week: C.

Royce: Congrats on the play! It's great that your acting is taking off. I'm really happy for all of your success. I'm sorry about the conflict between you and your father. The phone call with your dad was heartbreaking. He really wasn't going to give you any slack. But I understand because my mom is the exact same way. I wish you the best in your current relationship. Sometimes you have to give people a chance, and hopefully, your dad will give your BF a shot. Just keep focused on doing what's best for you and your son, which you always do. I love that your storyline is not about drama with any of the girls this season. I'm sure the drama will come later, but for now, it's cool to see how your acting career is taking shape. Royce's grade for the week: A.

Suzie: Well, I'm going to call you Motormouth from now on. You just can't keep your trap shut, can you? Wow, seriously, you picked an angle and you're not going to let it go. I think it's hilarious you can judge this poor girl Kenya from some YouTube videos but everyone is supposed to forgive you and forget their problems with you and be besties with you again. I just think that's hilarious. Call me crazy, but talking about someone behind their back and laughing at them behind their back is a lot worse than making a cheesy YouTube video. At least the girl is hustling trying to get something done. What is it that YOU do, exactly? Suzie's grade for the week: F.

Kenya: I admit your videos on YouTube ARE a little disturbing, but they're certainly not the worst things on YouTube. You're trying to make something happen and you're working with what you've got. I'm not gonna hate on you. I understand not being able to afford certain things and still trying to accomplish your goal. Just because you're not there yet doesn't mean you shouldn't try. So, keep working hard and hopefully, we'll get to see if your talent is enough to take you to that next level. Kenya's grade for the week: B.

Kesha: Your comment about not wanting to be a part of anything that's "mediocre" came off so badly. I'm sure you were just being honest, but DAMN. You were right to point out that if Kenya's on a limited budget, the club you were looking at probably wasn't the best choice. But there's a way to point that out without hurting the chick's feelings. If you don't want to waste your time, fine, but let the girl down easy, at least. Kesha's grade for the week: C.

Jennifer: I would love to hear you take responsibility for something just once. I can't with you. You missed Evelyn's point completely. The fact that you continued to put stuff out in the press about her relationship was wrong. You should have kept your opinions to yourself and not broadcast them for the whole world to hear. And you're back to wearing the ridiculous colored contacts so I'm officially done. Jennifer's grade for the week: F.

Talk to Your Publicist

Basketball Wives is BACK! And I am SO excited!! We got some new faces (Kesha and Kenya) and some new feuds (Jennifer vs. Evelyn), well maybe not so new. I can't wait to see how this season unfolds. This show is absolutely fascinating. So let's get right into the premiere episode.

Royce: I am so happy you came back for this season. You had previously said you would only come back if you were able to show your professional life more, so it seems that request has been met. You look as cute as ever, and you introduce us to Kesha Nichols who you know from dancing. More on her later. Basically, you're still not in "the circle", but you're ok with it as you've always been. You know who you are and where you're going, which is what we love about you. You always keep it real and honest no matter what. Your conversation with Suzie was hilarious. You put the truth right in her face and she tried to pretend it was something else. Thank you for calling her out on leaving you high and dry last season. You can see she's not a true friend, just an acquaintance, so I'm not worried about you getting hurt by her at all. I love that you're still close to Tami, because I love your friendship with her. You two are about as real as it gets. I can't wait to see your acting career flourish - you're one talented lady. Royce's grade for the week: A.

Kesha: I like you so far. I think you have a good attitude about this whole thing, coming into it as a newbie. Of course, we all know you're going to have issues with Tami from the previews ("Bitch, bitch, and more bitch."), but I'm hoping that's all just a misunderstanding. You were right to be put off by Jennifer and her snobby attitude with you, and NO, you shouldn't have to "audition" to be someone's friend. Just stay true to yourself and you'll be fine. Kesha's grade for the week: B.

Shaunie: We didn't see you too much except for the big Jennifer/Evelyn confrontation, but I do love how you're still the Queen Bee at the end of the day. You may be the Boss Lady of this show, but the look on your face tells me you genuinely want these girls to make up and be friends. I would like to see you on good terms with Royce again, by the way. Either way, you win, really. Congrats to you on the show's success, and here's to another great season. Shaunie's grade for the week: A.

Suzie: You never learn. Instead of trying to make everyone else be friends, why don't you work on your own friendships? Like apologizing to Royce, for one thing. I just can't with you. It's one thing to want everyone to get along, it's quite another to change your whole demeanor and personality to please who you're with at any given time. Also, the slutty talk ... not so cute anymore. Grow up. Suzie's grade for the week: D.

Kenya: I don't quite know what to make of you yet, but I'll give you a chance. It did irk me when you said you like Jennifer because she's bougie. Really? What about that is likable? I have no idea. Based on the previews the girls are going to turn on you pretty quickly, so we'll have to wait and see how that plays out. For now, I'm on the fence about you. Kenya's grade for the week: C.

Tami: My girl. I love that you're so honest with everyone and you can admit you're being nosy. You want the info and you're going to get it. I love it. However, I think you should have just kept some of the dirt to yourself. Maybe you shouldn't have told Jennifer and Suzie what Kenya and Kesha had to say about them, BUT, I don't think you were saying anything with any malicious intent at all. You were just sharing the gossip, that's all. I do respect how you're the same with everyone and you don't hold back. I laughed so hard when you told Evelyn that she was a mean bitch. Or something to that effect. That just cracked me up. You know you're right, too. I love that you're cool with everyone so far, but I definitely want to know what your beef is with Kesha. Just please keep being you because we love it. Tami's grade for the week: B+.

Evelyn: I was so mad at you last season. You were such a mean girl. And you still are. But I think we see now that no matter how tough you are, some things just hurt your feelings to the point where you're not going to take it anymore. And that's when you fight back. I think your problem with Jennifer is coming from much more than just a blog. I refuse to believe it's just that. Whatever the real reason (or combination of reasons), you're done with her. And this time, you mean it. You're marrying Chad and her not supporting you on that just was not acceptable for you. I get it. I hope you can tell us a little more about why you're so angry with Jennifer that you would basically try to get physical with her multiple times this season according to previews. Granted, you're not the one that gets to pop her in the face (also in the preview), but you definitely wanted to get your hits in. I hope you show us the Evelyn we loved in Season 1 again now that the mean girl role didn't really work out for you. You're the bride this season, make us want to be on your side. Evelyn's grade for the week: D.

Jennifer: You are really dumb if you think anyone is going to let you slide with that publicist excuse. Seriously. You are a public figure now! You can't just shrug off the fact that what you said (or approved) in a blog hurt someone's feelings. Your best friend's feelings to be exact. So, take some responsibility, and apologize for letting something get out there WITH YOUR NAME ON IT that caused so much pain, no matter whether you agree with it or not. That's just my opinion. I'm not really impressed with you or your attitude, and I never have been. So really, it's just about not acting like a total bitch in every scene. Think you can handle that? Great, thanks. Also, it's good to see you quit wearing those ridiculous color contacts. Jennifer's grade for the week: F.

What Do You Want From Me?

The Basketball Wives Super Trailer was released yesterday and it is EPIC! Check it out here

Tami is still my friggin' hero. Just watching her enjoy all the drama is enough for me. "Go for whatcha know!" YES!

Evelyn and Jenn are in a full blown WAR right now. And you should check out my previous Basketball Wives blogs because I called this happening a long time ago. I knew they would turn on each other. Jenn is probably regretting ever being friends with Ev - that's what happens when you gang up on people. Eventually your partner in crime focuses on you. And they have all the GOOD dirt on you. Yeah, good luck with that.

Evelyn and Chad are still planning their wedding ... yeah.

But Jenn isn't just getting it from Ev. Some other chick pops her in the face and Jenn just lets her do it! OMG!

Royce is getting her acting on, and I'm so proud of her! You go girl!

Suzie is stirring up trouble as usual, ugh, sit down.

Two new girls are in the mix, Keisha and Kenya, and they do not get along. The rest of the ladies take sides and it looks like everyone is siding with Keisha. I cannot wait to see what happens!

Underwhelmed!

Hello, all! I have to apologize for not blogging lately. I think it's the Summertime Blues creeping up on me again.

Well, let me just say that the Basketball Wives Reunion left me cold ... and irritated. Not only was it a total waste of time (except Tami's moments of pure comedy), but it was utterly pointless. I think my biggest problem with it is that it did not need to be 2 hours and it did not need to be split up into 2 episodes. They filled most of it with clips from the show that we've already seen. They also wasted a lot of time talking about things that just weren't that interesting (where Meeka gets her earrings). Really, VH1??? You couldn't actually have the ladies talk about their core issues with each other? I feel bad for John Salley, he tried to ask relevant questions, but some of the ladies thought it would be cool to ice each other out or just ignore the questions completely. Take a lesson from the Real Housewives, ladies! Reunions are MUCH better when you answer the questions that the fans actually want to know the answers to! Royce hardly got any screen time and when she did, she had to speak to Jenn. Ugh. Then we had to re-live all of Meeka's lies. Oy vey. Maybe I'm just over the show. Like I said, Tami was entertaining and gave us some great moments, mostly at Meeka's expense. But I'm ok with that. I guess I just wasn't blown away by this reunion. It was very tame and all the ladies seemed to be holding themselves back, with the exception of Tami. Please, VH1, give Tami her own show! She knows how this entertainment thing works! Anyway, the preview for Basketball Wives LA was way more entertaining than most of the reunion. These ladies are going to bring it.

Needless to say, I was underwhelmed by the reunion and can only hope that season 4 will be as exciting and juicy as season 3. Without Meeka, of course. I'd like to see a lot more of Tami, and I'd like to see Royce bring some of her friends into the show. It could be like two "circles", maybe with some interaction between the two. But I have a feeling Shaunie won't allow that. Speaking of Shaunie, I feel her role on the show should just be producer. She doesn't need to be on tv. She contributes nothing. Unless like she said at the reunion that they're going to bring more positivity to the show. As in showing their charitable works and professional lives. It should be more than just parties and fights. I agree with her on that. Here's what: Shaunie should just be a producer and recruit a couple of really interesting girls to round out the cast. They need to be fun and entertaining. There should be a couple that are loyal to Royce and a couple that are on team Evelyn/Jenn so there's some balance. Oh and you can get rid of Suzie too. Well, she could be on once in a while. Anyway, that's my take on it.

Until next time, honeys! And tweet me @humorandspice and let me know how YOU feel about the BBW reunion!!

Girl Fight - Can't We All Just Get Along? (No)

Greetings, friends!

I hope everyone is having a great week so far! Today I want to talk about Girl Fights - a few in particular, actually. This kind of relates to a previous blog (Toxic Friendships - Magnified by Reality Shows). But this time, we'll be delving into the details of some of the recent Girl Fights on our favorite reality shows.

Let's start with Basketball Wives: this week Tami finally blew up at Meeka. To be honest, it was about time. Someone NEEDED to set Mrs. Claxton straight. First of all, she needs to calm down. Drink some chamomile, girl, please. I'm exhausted just listening to her talk (the only thing I agree with Evelyn on). Second, has she EVER seen this show before? When you talk about any of the ladies behind their backs, they WILL find out about it, trust. And third, where's Shaunie in all this? Is she so over this show that she only has to be on the first couple episodes for 5 minutes and then she gets to fade out? I apologize, let's get back to the fight in question.

At the polo match, Meeka thinks she's cute (while she's clearly tagging along with Jen and Evelyn, who aren't that into her), and proceeds to tell them she pretty much can't bring herself to be friends with the other clique, which consists of Tami and Royce. Suzie's playing both sides in an effort to be friends with everyone, which, for the moment seems to be working with Jen and Evelyn - not so much with Royce and Tami. When Suzie, Tami, and Royce arrive, everyone is behaving in a civil manner. Could it be there will be no drama at this classy event? Don't count on it.

Meeka antagonizes Tami by asking her if she's been drinking, which she hasn't. And as Tami points out in her interview, if she was, it's none of Meeka's business. Tami sends some verbal jabs Meeka's way, and in true Meeka fashion, she can't control her motor mouth. Meeka gets up out of her chair, and Tami warns her to sit down or things might get out of hand. Does Meeka listen? Of course not. Tami then throws some perfectly crafted insult bombs: You're not in the circle! You'll NEVER be in the circle! They don't even LIKE you! I'll be here when you're LONG gone! ... I doubt Meeka heard any of it as she was babbling something about not thinking about Tami, but she wasn't making any sense. Tami and Royce leave the scene with Suzie following behind, where she's comfortable.

Now let's discuss: Tami did what all these ladies need to start doing. When someone starts acting up, just put your opponent in her place. It's the equivalent of a knock out in the first round. If your opponent is worthy, they'll come back with some valid (and hopefully entertaining) retorts and the battle will be epic. But don't pull a Meeka and come up with some lame excuses (You like drama). It didn't get physical, which is a good thing. I'm really proud of Tami for not physically harming Meeka, because you know she could have done some real damage. I prefer verbal altercations, that way, you can clearly see who has a quick, sharp wit, and who's just lame and out of their league.

This leads me to another Basketball Wives match up - from last week - Royce vs. Evelyn. If you didn't see it, Suzie took Royce to talk to Jen and Evelyn (I still don't know what she thought she was accomplishing), and not long into the conversation, Royce and Jen were in a heated argument. Evelyn started to make comments and Royce told her to shut up. They exchanged profanities, and Evelyn threw a drink at Royce. Again with the drink throwing? Get a new gimmick, Ev. Well, Royce didn't back down, she threw a glass at her and swung, but missed.

We can clearly see that Evelyn cannot just have a verbal argument, she always has to make it physical - not only in this instance with Royce, but also when she tore up Tami's lawsuit documents and threw them in Tami's face. Ev always needs to throw something in someone's face instead of sit/stand there and have an adult conversation. Granted, Royce and Evelyn should have never been face to face, their beef is a lost cause. However, I think that if Evelyn actually took the time to listen to other people and not react (overreact), she may just see the other person's side. But we all know that's not happening anytime soon. Maybe motherhood (this time with Chad, I'm aware she has a daughter) will soften her? Let's hope.

Over on Mob Wives, Karen gave Drita the first chapter of her book to read. Drita is uneasy about it, since Karen basically told her she doesn't care if Drita's husband doesn't want to be mentioned in the book or not. Drita tells Carla she doesn't really want to read it, because if she does, and there's something in there she doesn't like, she's not going to be able to do anything about it (except smash Karen's face in, right?). Carla suggests waiting till the final product comes out and finding out with the rest of the world. I don't know about you, but I'd actually appreciate the heads-up. Now, I'm not a Karen fan, but if I were Drita, I would just read it and get it over with. Why wait?

We'll get to see how this plays out on the finale this Sunday. The sneak peek shows Karen bringing up the subject of her ex/Drita's husband, Lee, and Drita defends herself by clarifying that she and Karen weren't friends or speaking when she got together with Lee. In fact, Drita says, if anyone should be holding grudges, it should be her - Karen hooked up with Drita's boyfriend when they first became friends. Then, there's supposedly a big secret about Lee that Karen reveals to the group. That's when the brawl happens.

Now, I've commented on this before. But Karen needs to let it go. She's looking real stupid right now. She basically admits befriending Drita because no one else would talk to her, then, when she finally becomes friends with Renee, she turns on Drita. Over something that happened years and years ago. Seriously, if it bothered you that much, Karen, you should have worked it out with Drita before you stepped foot in Staten Island again. I honestly think Karen used Drita to get in good with the other ladies on the show, and once that happened, she had no use for Drita anymore, and she could finally unleash the anger she'd been feeling the entire time. If I were Drita, I'd be angry too, and hurt, for that matter.

I don't blame Drita for not wanting to read the book, but I definitely think she should. There's too much in there that may affect her and her family to NOT read it. Especially if Karen's dropping bombshells about Lee that Drita wasn't aware of. We'll have to wait till Sunday to find out.

In other news, the Real Housewives of New York are taping their reunion today!! Well, it's probably already over by now. But still, it's always exciting to know that at this very moment, someone might be walking off the set, apologizing, telling someone to eff off, or maybe even pushing Andy Cohen down in his host throne. I can't wait to see the reunion, which should air in about a month or so.

What do you think of the Girl Fights on reality shows? Let me know by commenting or tweet me @humorandspice! Hope to hear from you soon!

Toxic Friendships - Magnified by Reality Shows

Hello again!!

This week's episode of Real Housewives of New York got me thinking about toxic friendships. You know, those friendships that are much more trouble than they're worth and leave you feeling drained and unappreciated. This time the players were Ramona and Jill (isn't Jill always in this predicament???). They're in Morocco, and decide it's time to sit down and hash out their issues. Now, they each say they've been friends for quite some time (I seem to remember one of them saying 15 years? I could be wrong.), and they both seem to expect the other to beg for forgiveness. Needless to say, neither one actually does. Instead, they both get defensive, launch accusations at each other, and scream/cry/throw temper tantrums like two year olds.

What hit me the hardest about this fight between Jill and Ramona (besides the fact that both of these women are well into their 40s/50s), is that neither one of them were listening to the other. They were hurling insults at each other, but never bothered to listen and/or comprehend what the other was actually saying. That conversation could have actually been productive, but their pride/ego wouldn't allow that to happen. Plus, there's the added incentive of being dramatic and ultimately getting more screen time.

Now let's contrast this with Mob Wives and the fight at Renee's house. I honestly think these women are how they appear on the show and there's little-to-no playing up to the cameras. For some reason, Renee, Drita, Karen, and Carla all seem to truly be that crazy. And I say that with love. I love these ladies (well, maybe not Karen so much), but they take reality show catfights to a whole other level. Who else loved it when Drita took her shoes off??? Best moment of the show so far.

Speaking of Drita, her drama with Karen is especially perplexing. Not because she married Karen's ex, but because Karen can't seem to let it go. Now, depending on who's talking, either Karen and Drita were the best of friends and Drita wasted no time getting with Lee, OR Karen and Drita hadn't spoken in a while and Drita just happened to fall in love with Lee. I'm guessing the truth is somewhere in between. What bugs me about this is that Karen came back to her old 'hood to write her book (and to be on this show), so she pretends to be all buddy buddy with Drita because, let's face it, Drita was practically the only one who would give her the time of day. Then Karen gets in good with Renee and Carla (somewhat, I mean, honestly, Carla doesn't really seem to care about Karen one way or the other), and immediately turns on Drita and recruits Renee to be her back up. Shady.

I really can't stand hearing any more about Carla's boyfriend (who sounds like a pig). Or how Renee talks about everyone's significant others. Enough. We get it. VH1, just skip those parts of the interview segments because we're all aware of these story points. Thanks.

Speaking of VH1, let's talk about Basketball Wives. First, Ms. Meeka. Another shady lady. I, personally, can't stand her already. Anyone that goes around spilling their guts when they first meet someone is suspect, in my opinion. Calm down, gurl! The fact that she met each of the girls one by one, then turned around and reported back based on each clique's agenda just shows how fake she is. Get some integrity and stick to what YOU really think and feel, not what you THINK people want to hear. Maybe my opinion of her is biased due to rumors that she begged to be on the show. Again, if that was the case, she should have just said, "I really want to be here so I'm going to be friends with everyone to get camera time with each girl and both cliques." That, at least, would have been smart.

Moving on to Evelyn vs. Tami - this is gonna be GOOD. First, let me say, Evelyn is wrong for making the "Non F'in Factor" t-shirts. Did anyone else notice there's no "M" in there? The original quote had an "M", and when they talk about it, they all include it, but for some reason it's not on the shirt itself. Also, Tami was rocking a "It Wasn't NOT Funny", a callback to her own fighting words on the Real World. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm definitely Team Tami, but it's seems odd to tell someone not to make a shirt quoting something said in a fight while wearing a shirt quoting something said in a fight. Am I wrong? It's odd, right? Either way, Evelyn shouldn't have tried to capitalize on that one quote, maybe another one would have been less explosive, but just as marketable. Lord knows this show is full of catchphrases. I can't wait to see the Tami/Evelyn drama unfold. These two are a perfect match made in reality heaven.

Point is - these women probably could all get along and be cordial in the real world. But that's not what we want to see, and these ladies know where their bread is buttered. Bring on the drama and get your screen time. Toxic or not, staged or not, it's entertaining, and you know I'll be coming back for more. But if I actually had to deal with this type of drama, I don't know if I could handle it. So props to these ladies! I couldn't do it!
