First off, my apologies for being so late with this blog. And all the blogs this week. I promise to do better this week, starting tonight! No more late blogs!
Anywhoo, I wanted to briefly chat about Wednesday and Thursday's Watch What Happens Live. Wednesday, Jimmy Fallon did an excellent job on the show. He and Andy Cohen played "What Can't Jimmy Do?" - a takeoff on the game Neil Patrick Harris played when he appeared on the show. Jimmy blew NPH out of the water, in my opinion, but that may be because NPH was such a downer when he was on. My twitter question was asked on the show (YAY!), and on the subject of Madonna vs. Gaga, Jimmy is decidedly Team Madonna. At least for now. The After Show was fun, including a call from a possibly highly medicated woman from Kissimmee, Florida, who would NOT let Jimmy get a word in edgewise. Check it out here.
Thursday was the much anticipated Pajama Party with Holly Hunter and Ralph Fiennes as the guests, and one of my all time favorite people, Amy Sedaris, as the bartender for the night. Amy made her famous Candle Salad from her book Simple Times: Crafts for Poor People. If you haven't read this book yet, do yourself a favor and do so. It is so funny. Back to Holly and Ralph. Holly is one of my favorite actresses of all time. On WWHL, she was super laid back and relaxed, and pretty much up for all the silly games and questions. Ralph was a little stiff (but hey, he's British, what do you want?), but actually turned out to be really funny. The After Show was great, with some dish about Ms. J.Lo herself, so click here to watch it.
